Excellent food and very nice and friendly staff AND an extremely enjoyable location to have a meal
we only had an hour between acts - we were seated, had our orders taken and served quickly and with a smile. so we managed it all in 40 minutes which lifted the pressure right off us. as usual we loved the food (main course side and desert) but then we know Cote food and love it: steak frites, salmon, sides of spinach and carrots share of creme caramel.
Just a simple Saturday lunch pre concert. Excellent food and friendly attentive service even at a busy time!
Friendly and efficient staff, swift service, even though this restaurant is very busy. There is also a separate and clear gluten free menu, offering a variety of dishes, which my husband really appreciated.
Great meal and service. Enjoyed a pre concert lunch with little hassle
Excellent food and service. Staff very attentive. I would return!
Really lovely meal, good service and delicious food as always
Great customer service from our waiter Bouba. He was very responsive to a comment on one dish that we'd ordered. Lots of choise for vegetarians. Great location.
A great first visit to this Cote. It was very noisy so be warned it's not the place for an intimate conversation, otherwise highly recommended.
very nice food, great service and great menu, the two pre-theatre menus have a great choice
Good value for money and the food is always reasonably good too.
A great place for a family meal, we have used this site twice before and found the staff attentive but not intrusive. Food was enjoyed by all!

I haven’t eaten at Cote Festival Hall before but I am about to book again. A really good menu that is well priced and the food was lovely. Friendly, efficient staff meant our meal flowed well. Happy to recommend.
Great food and good service. Good range of vegetarian options too.
Good food, friendly speedy service (some might feel a tad too speedy if looking for a relaxing meal). Quite noisy, but gives a lively atmosphere. Ideal for pre-concert dinner at the Royal Festival Hall. Especially recommend chocolate fondant!
Really lovely friendly staff. Food lovely. Thank you for making it a special afternoon lunch with friends.
We have always had a very enjoyable experience at Cote, However on this occasion we had a few problems. Firstly our Kir Royale was warm, however his was quickly rectified. Secondly the delicious Breton stew, which we have had a few times before, was not quite up to standard since the potatoes were undercooked. Again this was quickly rectified by the Manager who stepped in. It hasn’t put us off as the Manager was attentive and worked very hard to resolve our issues. Ultimately we had a very enjoyable dinner. The offer wine, a merlot, was very good.
Cote was fantastic as per usual. Nice place to eat with excellent service and attentive staff. 4 of us Uni friends had great time dining hear. Thank you Cote Brasserie
The service was excellent as was the food. The only slight criticism was that the veggie mains (parmitier) my partner ordered, although it was very tasty, it was rather small, more like a light bite than a mains. Really appreciated the birthday drinks, thanks, we'll be back!
Great service and lovely food. The cod was cooked perfectly.
Good meal, spoilt slightly by the closeness of the tables (the two ladies next to us were talking loudly and non-stop...)
A lovely meal, very good value, charming staff. Thanks Cote.
Lovely meal, lovely staff. Had lunch with a friend and my 6 month old. The staff were very accomodating and the service was excellent.
Forced to have an hour slot which was not applied when I booked. Also, I had received many emails about offers of wine which did not apply at this restaurant. Very misleading after being regular customers. We were constantly reminded to leave our table by 6. Very annoying.
my Friend had a food intolerances to some ingredients . The waiter understood and the kitchen presented the amended dishes . The food and service was excellent and we were in plenty of time for the theatre .
Very nice. Pre-theatre meal. Staff helpful and efficient, several menus to choose from, nice steak, pate food, French onion soup is excellent. Sat in the downstairs part- much quieter and calmer than upstairs. Didn't feel rushed, definately will go back next time I'm in the area.
Third time we have visited and the aircon was not working. The place was packed and the air was hot and humid. This spoilt the meal
Excellent food and good service with a very nice complimentary bottle of red wine!
Good food and service thanks. It was disappointing when we were told that the £9.95 offer specifically sent to us by Cote to use specifically at the Royal Festival Hall Cote was not valid. However the manager was excellent and honoured the deal that we had been specifically emailed by Cote to use at this Royal Festival Cote. Thanks for a great 2 course meal, a well run Cote. (However Head Office at Cote need to get their act together on making sure that the specific offers for specific locations that they specified in their email are valid.)
Excellent and quick service and demonstrated that they were taking into account our dietary requirements.
A lovely venue and thanks for the wine. The Merlot was delicious. Service good tho product knowledge could have been getter. Overall, as wonderful an experience as ever in Cote. X
The Staff were very helpful, welcoming, courteous and considerate at an extremely busy time. The food was of the usual high standard, impeccably presented and served. Noise levels were rather high but mainly due to many young people who were celebrating a recent graduation ceremony at the RFH
Friendly staff, reasonable food. Experience spoiled by cramped environment akin to an Anderson shelter on a busy night.
Food was excellent. Service was very poor as we had to wait an hour between finishing our starter and getting our main course

Gluten free menu is a big plus. The food is very good as is the service. Recommended.
I was deeply disappointed by my last experience at Côte, Royal Festival Hall on Thursday 16th January. I have been a vegetarian for several years, and after asking for the vegetarian menu, I chose the 'mushroom parmentier' from the vegetarian menu, pointing to it for the waitress. I then received a meat parmentier, but I was told it was the vegetarian one. I ate a large proportion of the meal before it dawned on me that the meat, so finely blended, was not in fact mushroom mince. We were offered free dessert, which we did not want as we did not have time for it, going to a show after. We then received the parmentier free of charge, but I would like to receive some more compensation from Côte and an official apology, as the service declined considerably after I drew attention to staff what had happened.
Met a friend for catch up over brunch - great food, great service , great price ! Very happy couple hours
I was trying to book for 5.45pm but it would not accept booking - only 5.30 or 6pm - so had to book for 6pm. Our performance was for 7.30 at the Festival Hall which was very tight to eat and be inside in time. That 15minutes would make all the difference. Eat often at Cote
Service was slow, food was good, noise was quite high.
As we were leaving Vauxhall station heading into Waterloo at 18.20 this evening my wife spontaneously suggested Cote rather than heading home and the kitchen. Booked online and menus in front of us by 18.40 next to Royal Festival Hall. Very fast service, pre theatre menu pear and endive, Pork tenderloin, Fish Goujons and rounded off sharing hot chocolate over ice cream. Magnificent!
Nice venue, good food and very reasonable price. We stayed for a long time chatting, we’re checked on every now and again, but never made to feel like we had overstayed our welcome.
Excellent service and delicious food. A special effort was also made to acknowledge my friend’s birthday and it was greatly appreciated.
Really good food, as we’ve come to expect at whichever branch of Côte we eat at. This evening service was exceptionally attentive. Many thanks.
Lovely waitress, very polite, patient and friendly. Excellent food and choice. Nothing took very long to arrive. Not a huge amount of room between back of my chair and the next table, but otherwise very comfortable and conveniently located. Cote is always dependable and extremely good value.
Friendly and competent staff. Service quick and tap water provided without asking. The limited menu enables very high quality to be provided at a modest price. Although very busy the noise level was moderate. I would rate it as excellent value for money.
Ok except the fish was not fresh. It smelt very odd like ammonia. I had to send it back and unfortunately the replacement was equally bad. I felt it would be unwise to even try to eat it. I think this problem is about the suppliers not the restaurant kitchen.
Great service Our waiter was very attentive good representative for Côte Brasserie
This is a great location right next to the river. lovely food, great service.
I've been going to Cote Brasserie's for years. This was my first time at this location. I was meeting a friend for dinner after work. Staff were welcoming. I was shown to our table in the downstairs area., which consists of banquettes for 4 on the left and right, the kitchen at the back and down the centre, two columns of tables for two. One side of the table is a separate chair the other is a shared banquette style 'sofa' down the middle of the room. The tables for 2 were crammed in like squashed sardines. There's barely room to squeeze between the tables. No room for any extra bags that you might be carrying (although the staff were able to store mine in a separate room). If you're on the 'sofa' side of the table, you either have to shout your order or point at the menu - as the waiting staff can't move round by the side of the table. Food is passed awkwardly over to you rather than placed on the table in front of you. My food was luke warm (cooked properly but obviously left on the side before being brought out). I'd gone for the Breton chicken from the GF 'two courses' menu - the butter and parsley butter that was brought out, didn't melt immediately when placed on the chicken (if at all). This wasn't the dining experience that I expect from a Cote Brasserie and would be hesitant to go back there.
Roberta, our server, was outstanding very friendly and professional, food amazing from the starters to the desserts. Definitely recommended.
