High quality food as always and the service was terrific, particularly when my colleague asked for something completely off the menu which they produced without fuss and at no great cost.
Lovely staff and great menu. chips are a bit underdone.
We love Cote, great food and great value for money. A bit noisy at times maybe but always good.
Three of the meals were very good, 5*, the moules were not up to cote standard. Service as usual was excellent
Lovely pre theatre meal , friendly welcome and good service . Will definitely return .
As ever great food great service great value. Under £120 with service two bottles of wine and three courses for three right by the Thames in central London. Amazing.
As a regular customer, I confidently told my guests that they could expect good food, good value and slick service. The first two were delivered, but service was uncharacteristically less good. One of the five main courses made it to the table late. It proved quite an effort to attract someone's attention to order coffees and, having ordered, it took an astonishing 20 minutes for the coffees to reach our table.
Delightful waitress Carmen - really great service and food was delicious. It was obviously very busy and a little noisy and it was very hot where we we’re sitting downstairs but look forward to another visit. Thanks.
Good, but noisy. good location. Easy and simple to get to.
Everything about our dining experience was exceptional! We highly recommend it!
Pleasant and lively ambience. Quick and congenial service. My partner's observation that her meal was not sufficiently hot led to a quick replacement. Flavour and presentation were good, as usual. We keep coming back here, when attending Royal Festival Hall events. We are booked again for next week.
Can always rely on Cote for casual dining especially pre or post theatre.
Excellent value considering the price attentive service. vibrant atmosphere
A very pleasant Sunday evening meal. The restaurant was not too busy and we were greeted by a very friendly waitress, and seated in a table by the window. Started with two glasses of fizz, and perused the menu. Lots of choice and a couple of October specials. We had starters of, me, grilled prawns and partner of smoked salmon. We both went for the herbed chicken breast in French bacon, an October special. We shared a portion of fries. Food arrived promptly and the starters were very good, and lots of them. Mains were perfectly cooked and again adequate quantity. Chicken was really moist. I always like Cote’s fries and was not disappointed. The French Merlot was very good and not expensive, didn’t overwhelm the chicken either. Background music was playing downstairs, but we were not aware of any upstairs - I am not a fan of thumps music when eating. Would definitely go again.
Good but just a couple of things that could be improved. Ordered bread to have with starters but didn’t get till main course. When asked said it came from bar not kitchen. Also wine was served well into meal. However quality of food good as always and friendly staff.
Attentive, reactive staff despite the room being busy and good portions.
I had lunch there with my nephew prior to a concert across the way at the RFH. We had a most enjoyable time and very good service and food. I hope to come again soon next time I am in London for a concert. Many thanks
Fantastic brunch, good quality food and great value. Could be improved by the toast being on fresh loaf bread rather than processed loaf. I only negative was the noise levels, it was far too loud to hear one another when trying to have a conversation
The staff were exceptionally busy this evening, but did a first - class job in every way. My sincere thanks to all the team for giving me yet again a wonderful experience.
Food was COLD. Soup first, for one of our party was sent back. Table manager spoken to who was apologetic. Finally, after quite a wait, soup was brought back to table and was very hot indeed. Then four main courses arrived and were all tepid, so we returned those as well and spoke AGAIN to the floor manager. At least the final bill took our complaints into account. Won't EVER go back to that branch again - which is a pity because the food, when we got it, was tasty. And it's such a convenient location for the Royal Festival Hall.
Good food. Good menu including a reasonable choice for vegetarians
Always good food and varied menu . Pleasant and efficient service - we we’re going to a concert so timing was important . We were a party of 5. Noise level always a problem I find , but understandable on a busy Saturday evening . My second visit to Cote Festival Hall , but have been to many others .
Excellent meal this evening. The staff were exceptionally busy owing to a demonstration in London, but they coped magnificently. Superb professionalism, thank you.
We have eaten at other branches of Cotes Brasserie many times. We ordered dishes that were familiar but they were disappointing today. The main reason for using a chain is for its consistency but that was sadly lacking. If this had been our first visit to the chain we would not, on the basis of this experience, be rushing back anytime soon. It was not so bad we felt like complaining but we know Cotes can be much better. All in all disappointing.
A late evening dinner for me and a friend. Our waitress was wonderful and really looked after us, she even knocked up a couple of espresso martinis (not on the menu normally). Food was great too; simple, tasty and hearty. Thank you!
Excellent pre-theatre set menu. My mom has some allergies that makes eating out a hassle, and the staff and manager were extremely patient and accommodating. Great spot!
Super service and very attentive. Hugely accommodating when I mentioned it was my friend’s birthday. Several waiting staff and all very professional. Would definitely come again and recommend to others.
Food was great, service was great. Complimentary birthday drink. Fab evening.
Service was slow, despite booking for 5:30 we were very nearly late for the concert next door. My steak wasn’t very warm and the staff seemed to be run ragged. It was supposed to be a special 21st birthday meal but was spoiled by the flowers which were arranged going to the wrong person! Communication could have been better.
Had a lovely meal at Cote and service was great also.
Disappointing. My first visit to this branch. The noise level grew very quickly and made conversation difficult as well as spoiling the experience of a catch-up lunch with friends. Staff also made no apparent attempt to ask a parent to stop a child using its knife and fork as drumsticks on the table. Service was initially very good but our lady disappeared during the meal and her replacements were not attentive enough. After a bad experience with the pepper-crusted ribeye steak special some time ago I ordered it again with a little trepidation. A mistake - the steak was obviously overcooked, very dry, and I just could not detect any pepper crusting. There was also insufficient sauce. I am a regular Cote customer and this experience was just not good enough. I will eat at Cote again but not at this branch.
Same good quality as other Cote restaurants, good service, ambience OK but not brilliant lighting and tables a bit squashed together. Convenient for Royal Festival Hall (15 feet way!) so would go again when going to RFH.
Food is excellent with many choices on both lunchtime set menus. Friendly and prompt service.
Great evening great service great food great value great location
We had dinner yesterday, as it was my graduation! Our server was Simone , and well done , excellent service , very kind , very funny and quick ! However out disappointment was in terms of food ( although my cerliarc soup was delicious ) and the croquettes, but the steaks was dry, a bit too well done ! Desserts ... not worth ordering it! Small portion , and not much choice . However had an amazing time , thank you Simone
Perfection in every aspect. Great service and the food was outstanding I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone OUTSTANDING
Have a lovely meal to celebrate our daughters graduation day.We had a beautiful meal in a lovely setying to cap off a fantastic day.
We're early and they're very accommodating. I had crab mayonnaise which was the usual high standard. Haddock goujons was my tasty main. It came with large portion of fries and peas. Then I had crepe with caramelized banana and hazelnut filling. Sooo yum. Great Sunday treat after concert at festival hall.Highly highly recommended
Excellent delicious well displayed food good service and lovely ambiance
Generally a very good experience hard to fault. The service was a tad slow to begin with but they had to cope with people coming out of the rRFH after a concert.
Everyone in our vicinity the temperature of the restaurant was too hot!
Very convenient for the RFH and reliable food, and pleasant staff. Last night there were a lot of breakages of glass and china going on. It is better to carry less to avoid this. We all agreed it was a very pleasant evening and the food was delicious.
excellent service and food ,the staff were very careing. under "rush hour" pressure

Service was not good, had to keep grabbing passing waiters attention to ask for water, can we order food etc. The when it came to paying the bill (2people) I had over my credit card and said we are splitting it (£36.96) so he charged £19 to my card and £27.96 to my friends card. Is it that hard to work out splitting the bill means each person pays £18.48!
Good service and value. I enjoy visiting this branch of Cote.
Extremely busy place this evening, but the staff managed effortlessly. I had a superb meal. I was very impressed with the customer service recovery on the table next to me: they had had to wait a long time for their meal and some complimentary drinks were offered to them by way of apology. Most impressive.
We had a very tasty meal. Restaurant was busy but we received informed and excellent service. Menu was well balanced and dietary requirements offered. We will definitely revisit on our next trip up. We booked table via website and would recommend this.
We always enjoy our meal at Cote, chicken salads were as we wanted, Mussels were slightly overdone and the cheese board perfect to finish our meal. Loved the French Martinis! Staff, as always were lovely and even helped me out when I could retrieve a voucher on my phone. Thank you!
Good value for money. Ordered pretty theatre menu. Service a bit slow.
Excellent food, wine, service and value for money. Thank you!
