Food was good; atmosphere and service are far better than at other Côtes (Barbican).
A really lovely restaurant with great food and wine and very helpful staff Good atmosphere and the ambience is not ruined by excessive noise and music
Really enjoyed as every time me and my girlfriend we visit ćote good food good servise.
Exactly what we wanted. Charming staff. Delicious blood orange martini. I should have ordered dressing on side for salad. Lunch time so pleased busy but not noisy
Had a wonderful evening celebrating 2 friend's birthdays. Foid excellent.Wonderful staff.
Difficult to find using iPhone maps and your booking service couldn’t help ‘because they aren’t based in London’
The service was a little bit too slow tonight which meant we sadly missed the play we were due to see tonight which was a shame.
Food was good and waiters did their best but problems in kitchens meant both courses woefully slow in arriving. Unusually sub standard for Côte. Needs investigating
Had to wait 10 mins for a menu. Table sticky, wrong starter arrived for my husband so we ate separately. Having asked for bill another long wait.
Pre-theatre menu : great food, good choice, great value, good service, not too noisy - what's not to like!
Fantastic meal and excellent service from the manager to the staff. We waited for an outdoor table but it was worth it! We will be back!
Enjoyed food and very pleasant service as group of 4 friends for early Sat pre-theatre meal. However found noise levelst rather noisy to hear at times when became busy.
Very busy restaurant food good, service sporadic. One meal had to be changed as it was too salty. This was delt with and a deduction made from the bill.
Excellent food, great service - will definitely back again soon! Thank you for another great dinner!
Delightful feeling of a "family run" business: personable, friendly, good food etc. But it is a chain. Noise level probably better than most. Attentive staff
Good food, great value. Good service and overall experience! Thanks
We had a lovely meal. The staff are most attentive.
The staff were so helpful, friendly and accommodating for our group which were celebrating a 70th birthday. We were positioned right by the door and close to the accessible toilet which was very considerate given we had a wheelchair user in the group. The rendition of 'Happy Birthday' was also a very nice touch!
Great evening last night in Cote Festival Hall Very busy but we were not rushed out, we had an early booking (445pm) before a concert next door. Good value , great service , Thank you
A lovely table for two for lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant is delightful, the food was impeccable and the service was absolutely perfect. We had such a lovely time I can't wait to go back. Crab mayonnaise was bursting with flavour, steak frites cooked to perfection, tarte au citron very zingy. Highly recommended.
Perfect pre concert meal. Staff brilliant - seating a little cramped. So thrilled to get complimentary cocktails to help celebrate my birthday! Thank you.
Nice restaurant in good location. Food was ok but not outstanding; service a little slow at times and didn’t have the full menu available
Pre theatre meal on both standard and prestige menus excellent and good value for area. Quiet at 4.30 but very busy by 5.30. Staff welcoming and attentive.
Very kind and welcoming staff who were attentive but not on top of you, the food was delicious and there was a great atmosphere. We were there after theatres started so it was busy but not heaving.
Service was excellent and the food well prepared and tasty. We had a pre-theatre meal and the restaurant copes well with the demand from many diners. Good value for money in comparison with some others near by.
second visit in last fortnight...Very convenient location.. good food at good price...Addition of Saga benefit was welcome .will definately be visiting the restaurant again ,next time I am in the area
Good table in window, very helpful manager (?) who greeted us and led us to table and was aware if we wanted anything. He was particularly accommodating as we wanted something that didn't quite fit with the menus offered but he was prepared to accept our request. V good, efficient, professional service from the person who greeted us and another waiter who served us. Very pleasant experience.
Busy chain restaurant which serves good value set menu and reasonably priced a la carte. Food is standard French style but consistently good. Staff are always busy but pleasant. Enjoyable evening.
Nice welcome from the manager. Coats taken and placed on coatrack. Served efficiently. Food good. Fresh water served immediately (as always). Gluten-free requirement handled well. Both desserts delicious. Bill brought promptly. Third visit here.
The service and food was amazing. It is in one of the best locations which will definitely be revisited. The only negative for the experience was that until arriving we did not know that it was a set menu only which was a little disappointing.
Excellent food served by a very experience waitress...never disappointed when we eat in any the the Cote restaurants...🥂🍽
Great quality two course set menu. Very reasonably priced. Friendly staff, fab location
We were very well looked after during a busy pre-theatre evening time. The service was great, the food was delicious and it was excellent value for money. We'll definitely be back!
Consistently good food and service at Cote, whichever branch I visit.
A lovely meal - charming atmosphere in which to catch up with friends and friendly, quick service. A nice pre-theatre set menu and wine list too.
The service , food and atmosphere were exceptional- Thank you very much everybody
pleased to be in Cote again as ours in Camden Parkway closed recently & we miss it a lot as many of us locally went there frequently. The food yesterday was really good as it always is except that the potatoes weren't quite cooked. We were given a generous discount off our bill for this however. Apart from that, the only issue was the noise level which makes conversation difficult. I'm not sure how you can address this but more sound absorbent surfaces might help?
Everything was good, the food, service, drinks -- and not hugely expensive, a decent lunch, pleasantly served and reasonably priced --I'm definitely coming back !!
This was a warm and welcoming location on a cold February afternoon. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food tasty. Our main course did take a very long time to arrive but the staff were apologetic and gave us a complimentary kir royals to compensate for our wait. Overall I would recommend this restaurant for a pre theatre meal .
Although we have enjoyed other branches of your restaurant in the past, and particularly the chicken, the three of us that ate this found it to be heavily overcooked, hard and dry, rather than the moist tasty chicken we have previously eaten. Although useful when we go to theatre in the area, we suspect we will not be returning.
Good food although you should change your menu more often. Very noisy! Still keep coming back.
Food is absolutely unbelievable! Couldn't of asked for anything better 10/10 and will definitely be going again! Staff were very friendly and attentive will be recommending to friends and family!
Have visited various Cote establishments in London and the South, always receiving good service and delicious dishes. This was no exception, despite raucous neighbours the staff ensured that, nonetheless, our experience was a pleasurable one.
Had an excellent meal. The service was good and the waiter was very helpful. This is an informal place to eat good food. Somewhat noisy but that's because this restaurant is very busy and obviously successful.
Recently we had an early evening meal with friends before going to an event at the Royal Festival Hall. Cote is one of our main restaurant choices as we always enjoy the varied menu and the house wine is very acceptable. On this occasion we certainly weren't disappointed - the food was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxed and attention by the staff, particularly the manager, was superb. We shall definitely be returning!
Service was excellent but the food was not great. Especially the veggie main - butternut squash cake. Didn’t taste of anything and the egg on top was tasteless and didn’t really go. Bit disappointing as their breakfasts are always very good
Delightful breakfast and dinner! Just what we needed after a very early start to the day and a wonderfully interesting and VERY tiring full day at the V&A. Excellent food and friendly, slick service too. We will definitely return when we are back in London again very soon! Many thanks, R and K xxx.
Lovely food, fab location and the price fix menu is excellent value. Plus, the acoustics are always good at Cote which is important to me as I hate sitting in noisy, brash surroundings that seem the current trend. I keep going back, but book a table as it popular and gets busy
Took 10-15 minutes to be asked about food or drinks, wasn’t asked if we wanted any more drinks, chicken was pink (agreed by waiter) so swapped over. Had to wait another 20 minutes after our mains were cleared away to grab the attention of staff. Fed up with wait so didn’t get dessert and left. Disappointing service, nice meal though
We book Cote because it's always good. Our experience last night was again excellent. Great, fast service and delicious food. I nearly always choose the French onion soup because I love it. My seafood linguine was good and my creme caramel was to die for. Our wine was also good.
