Food was good; atmosphere and service are far better than at other Côtes (Barbican).
Very good food and service! It was a bit loud but it was Saturday afternoon so I suppose it was to be expected. Consistently good food.
This branch is always busy but it feels quite stressful and chaotic. It was the same on a previous occasion. The waiters are pleasant and efficient but it was a long wait and I had to leave half my food to rush off as I was performing in a concert at the Festival Hall. The manager is rather offhand and unwelcoming . It doesn’t compare with other Cote Branches unfortunately.
Extremely good as usual apart from the fact that my companion's goats cheese salad had huge chunks of vegetables which marred her enjoyment.
Really enjoyed as every time me and my girlfriend we visit ćote good food good servise.
The service was a little bit too slow tonight which meant we sadly missed the play we were due to see tonight which was a shame.
Well looked after by the attentive staff, well fed with interesting and enjoyable selections. Just what we wanted in proximity to the Royal Festival Hall with a most pleasant ambience.
Really impressed by both the quality of the food and the service was immaculate. We were on a tight time schedule but service was fast and the staff were exceptional. Well done and we will return.
Food was good and waiters did their best but problems in kitchens meant both courses woefully slow in arriving. Unusually sub standard for Côte. Needs investigating
Pre-theatre menu : great food, good choice, great value, good service, not too noisy - what's not to like!
Fantastic meal and excellent service from the manager to the staff. We waited for an outdoor table but it was worth it! We will be back!
Enjoyed food and very pleasant service as group of 4 friends for early Sat pre-theatre meal. However found noise levelst rather noisy to hear at times when became busy.
Good good, good value, and right there for pre-dinner for the Royal Festival Hall.
Good service, predictable menu well presented go ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ok ok
Delightful feeling of a "family run" business: personable, friendly, good food etc. But it is a chain. Noise level probably better than most. Attentive staff
After an initial disagreement over our table, we had a good evening with very good service and food. I do like the cote chain but it is dependent upon the welcome that you receive and the service.
Lovely food and great service. Full gluten Free menu available too. We will go again. We mainly ate fish and all choice s were good. the
Good service, nice food. Very busy on Good a Friday around RFH, but still reasonably peaceful in the restaurant. Price ok as well especially set menu.
Very bad service. Food was mediocre. We were made to wait 20 mins after our reservation time for a table and we were almost late to a concert at Southbank Centre as a result of this.
Nice restaurant in good location. Food was ok but not outstanding; service a little slow at times and didn’t have the full menu available
Took my Son and his girlfriend for a pre-show dinner and it was their first time there. As one is a vegetarian, it was nice to see a good vegetarian menu. The food and service was good as always.
Great food, good service and reasonably priced as always. Never disappointed at Cote!
Excellent food served by a very experience waitress...never disappointed when we eat in any the the Cote restaurants...🥂🍽
Another enjoyable meal at Cote and excellent service as usual. Friends dining with us hadn't been to Cote before and were very impressed with the value for money. Would choose a different main from the April set menu next time as the boeuf en croute wasn't the beef wellington type dish I thought it might be. Looking forward to our next visit at the end of the month.
Despite a busy restaurant and lots of kids, the staff were charming and professional as ever, and the food delicious.Cote are a consistent chain, they always make me feel looked after.
Great food great service! We all had a really good time.
2 weeks ago I enjoyed a lovely plate of mussels. On the strength of that I ordered them again last night and was bitterly disappointed with the small and dried things that appeared. There were also 3-4 empty shells which didn't help matters. Although you responded with a reduction in the bill I did wonder whether yo have one quality for the fixed menu and another better quality for the a la carte. Would like to think this isn't the case but can you reassure me? Roger Lennard
A lovely meal - charming atmosphere in which to catch up with friends and friendly, quick service. A nice pre-theatre set menu and wine list too.
We have been using Cote for some years now, starting in Birmingham then St Katherines Dock and St Martins Lane then Cote in Oxford so when we booked at Royal Festival Hall we did know the group and found this experience as all the others excellent food and excellent value
The service , food and atmosphere were exceptional- Thank you very much everybody
This was a warm and welcoming location on a cold February afternoon. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food tasty. Our main course did take a very long time to arrive but the staff were apologetic and gave us a complimentary kir royals to compensate for our wait. Overall I would recommend this restaurant for a pre theatre meal .
Although we have enjoyed other branches of your restaurant in the past, and particularly the chicken, the three of us that ate this found it to be heavily overcooked, hard and dry, rather than the moist tasty chicken we have previously eaten. Although useful when we go to theatre in the area, we suspect we will not be returning.
The setting and the service were great although the food was a little disappointing.
Food is absolutely unbelievable! Couldn't of asked for anything better 10/10 and will definitely be going again! Staff were very friendly and attentive will be recommending to friends and family!
Lovely food, gorgeous wine (nice and chilled), perfect location and wonderful staff. But be warned you must book on a Saturday it is super-popular. Thanks for the gluten free menus - always allreciated especially with the reassurance of flagged food when served.
A lovely meal well presented and most enjoyable very convenient for our concert at the Royal Festival Hall. Great place to meet friends and family. Very good quality at a very good price.
Had an excellent meal. The service was good and the waiter was very helpful. This is an informal place to eat good food. Somewhat noisy but that's because this restaurant is very busy and obviously successful.
Recently we had an early evening meal with friends before going to an event at the Royal Festival Hall. Cote is one of our main restaurant choices as we always enjoy the varied menu and the house wine is very acceptable. On this occasion we certainly weren't disappointed - the food was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxed and attention by the staff, particularly the manager, was superb. We shall definitely be returning!
Excellent food and service. Also accommodated a change in time of booking and group size. Second time we’ve been here and both times have been first class
The service was very good and fast. Our waiter was very attentive. Food was delightful as always. And it was followed by delicious complimentary cocktails. 10/10
The service was terrible. We ordered our food at 10 pm, the mains didn’t come in till 11 pm. The chips were cold, the whole experience was awful
We really enjoyed our delicious meals and friendly service. The sea-bass with fennel purée was a superb combination. Thank you for a wonderful pre-concert dining experience!
My second visit to a cote this week for my birthday celebrations . As usual wonderful food and service although different restaurant standard still amazing our party of ten loved it thankyou xx
Easy to book a table in advance. Service excellent and friendly. Food very good too!
Lovely food, great service, and very patient with all the kids in there (including ours!). We’ve eaten in a few different Côtes (love the set menus) and this was by far thr best food - my mum raved about the pork for the rest of the day and wants to thank the chef!
Overall it’s a great place to eat. The food is flavoursome, the selection of wines it’s fantastic, the service is good. I would however liked to see more pasta dishes on the menue. The venue can get a little noisy at some point, it may help to play some classical music to keep people calm! Maybe. I’m very happy with cote brasserie and would definitely go back there to enjoy more food dishes.🥂😊❤️
Took 10-15 minutes to be asked about food or drinks, wasn’t asked if we wanted any more drinks, chicken was pink (agreed by waiter) so swapped over. Had to wait another 20 minutes after our mains were cleared away to grab the attention of staff. Fed up with wait so didn’t get dessert and left. Disappointing service, nice meal though
Excellent experience as usual! The service, food/drink and location are perfect. In my opinion Côte is the most consistent restaurant in the small chain bracket. Well done. Please keep it up!🌟
Good service and tasty food. Always a good option for pre theatre dining.
Very well looked after and not rushed despite it being a very busy time pre-theatre. Food lovely and reasonably priced too. Nice to be served on hot plates. Visiting again on 16th!
