Cowshed - Liverpool

Food was excellent, environment in the restaurant was great and the playlist used was top notch. Couple of niggles with the waitstaff but generally a great little place for some fab steak. The butternut squash side is to die for!

Second time trying the Greedy Cow and both times have been perfect. Somehow managing to make the cheapest cut, the flat iron, my favourite. Can’t wait to get back and try the fillet!

Food was fabulous and lived up to all that I had been told. Just as important is the service which was second to none, such a rare thing these days. You really must go and experience a lovely meal with exceptional customer service. Lyn Fleet

Amazing food, fabulous steak, and all very well priced. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for our party of 4. Our waitress rebecca was so lovely and our free shot of tot was a welcomed addition for finish off our meal. Andy was professional, confirming our booking on several occasions. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning on my next visit to Liverpool

This place does what it says on a tin Cow cooked to perfection I would definitely recommend to any meat eaters that this is one place in Liverpool to eat👍

Perfectly cooked flat iron steak with delicious sides & bone marrow. Very attentive staff who checked we were enjoying our food & provided excellent service. Make sure you prebook a table as it’s so popular!

This was the fourth time we visited Cowshed, and once again we had a great experience. The steak is SO good and the staff are all lovely.

We went to Cowshed for a meal with our son and his wife and had a fantastic evening. The meal was first class, as was the wine. The service was very professional, friendly and we never felt rushed. Would thoroughly recommend this restaurant!

Followed the reviews from Trip advisor and was pleasantly surprised, and satisfied at what we got, Good value for money, friendly staff and a superb steak dinner (and pudding...)

Taken straight to our reserved table which was located on the first floor with good space between other diners tables. Great food and excellent service by friendly staff. Thoroughly enjoyed.

What a wonderful evening! My husband & I chose this restaurant for an anniversary meal, based on previous reviews & so glad we did. Set in a former home, the various rooms were spread over several floors which gave it an intimate feel. The staff were friendly & inviting and the food was fantastic. We chose the fillet steak special which was delicious but could see the tables around us ordering the £40 steak taster for 2, which also looked excellent. Will definitely be going back from more!

It was my husbands birthday and he was not disappointed with the restaurant I chose for him, knowing he loves steak. We were staying overnight in Liverpool and this restaurant had good reviews. I was really pleased with how it all went, it’s a lovely quiet restaurant, lovely food and service, definitely worth a visit if you’re a steak fan!

We were visiting Liverpool for a couple of night and booked the this for the two of us. We opted for the Greedy Cow between the two of us. Great food and the location is brilliant.

Does what says on its website - provides good steaks at an honest price with some interesting ‘nibbles’ and ‘sides’. Unusual building, nice atmosphere and great friendly staff. I’ll go again when in Liverpool

Excellent food, steak was succulent and juicy. My daughter has a nut allergy and all the staff were attentive about it. All problem foods were pointed out and avoided with no fuss at all. Overall a great meal at a reasonable price. Would definitively recommend you try it if you love steak.

The atmosphere is very cozy, the waitresses& waiters are very nice and friendly, the food is bomb!:) Me & my friend ordered The Greedy Cow £40 for two (3 steaks, 2 sauce, 2 sides) The Steaks are Flat iron, Rump, and Ribeye. For sauces, we chose Blue Cheese Sauce& Garlic& Herb Sauce and for the sides: Garlic Mushrooms with Truffle Butter & Caramelised Butternut Squash, Red Onion & Parmesan. Overall everything was amazing:)) we loved it& totally will come back!:)

Fabulous food and first class service. Menu limited to steaks but what they do, they do well. Nice appetisers, delicious sides and steak cooked to absolute perfection: reasonably priced and also decent wines at good prices. Service was excellent, professional, efficient and very friendly, with a special mention to Natasha who was lovely. About 15 minutes to the Arena so ideal for a meal before an event.

Visited on Saturday evening for my mums birthday treat , we all thought the steaks were amazing , staff very friendly , we all really enjoyed it and can’t wait to come back 😁

Amazing service from lovely staff. Food was gorgeous and arrived so quickly. Cheesecake was unreal! We've been waiting to try Cowshed fot ages and it didn't disappoint.

It was AMAZING!! I didn't want my meal to end. The steak was so tender, no fat and cooked to perfection, the chips were beautifully seaonsed and the blue cheese sauce was divine! The staff were welcoming and friendly and it was a lovely chilled atmosphere! I will be recommending this place to anyone!
