Cowshed - Liverpool

Went to the Cow Shed with my wife on Saturday evening, it was our first visit - wow. The food was absolutely stunning, the service was first class and the restaurant has a warm friendly feel. Would thoroughly reccomend it, we will be going back.

My son found this restaurant on TripAdvisor and we booked straightaway. What an excellent restaurant. Lovely steaks all round. Service was excellent too. Thoroughly Recommend!

Service was great, good quality food and decent drinks. My only criticism would be with the flat iron steak which was slightly fatty and hard to cut/chew, amazing taste none the less. Ribeye to die for

Delicious food and excellent service! Steak was cooked perfectly, sides were fresh and it was all presented well. Nice atmosphere and music. Would definitely recommend!

Steak was great, staff were helpful and the menu was priced fairly. Would highly recommend the cowshed to any steak lovers looking for decent cuts.

Me and my wife had the greedy cow.and some cocktails and although we splurged a bit I feel it was well worth it. The cuts all.tasted different and the bernaise sauce was incredible. I had a few gristly bits in the ribeye but you expect that with that particular cut - the flat iron is great (so buttery). Service was great and music was defo to my taste (rock & 90s indie). Thanks for a great meal

Excellent steaks and beautiful food. Friendly attentive staff. Only criticisms are the steaks are already seasoned (I think that should be the diners choice.) Only one male toilet, and only accessible by stairs. Overall an excellent experience!

Really good service and really good food! Would definitely eat here again, the greedy cow plate was ideal to try all the steaks on the menu and really good value for money.

excellent service with friendly and helpful staff offering advice on how the steak is best cooked and refusing to do well done which is great ....food delicous especially the special which was amazing .... the other diners in our group said the food was that nice they could easily eat it again.... great value for money we had one special and three rump with four sides and sauces plus cocktails and a bottle of prosecco and the final bill came to just around 40 per person..... will be coming again 10/10

Most amazing meal I've had in such a long time, every last detail was perfect! We ordered a lot & I couldn't find fault in anything. Staff where extremely pleasant too. Would recommend it too anyone.

Food was fab! Staff were lovely. Ordered greedy cow which was three steaks, two sides and two sauces perfect for the two of us and a small child. So nice would recommend highly.

Wow! Genuinely gorgeous little place, so homely and staff were very very friendly! We had bread for starters which was lovely warm and crisp, with balsamic oil and thyme butter, lovely! But the steak, omg! We got the greedy cow between me and my wife, it was absolutely divine, all 3 steaks just melted in our mouths! With chips and garlic mushrooms, as if that wasn't good enough, the pepper sauce was delicious! Our desserts were amazing too! Red velvet cheesecake with berry compote, it was heaven! The wife got apple and raspberry tartlet which she said was great! Overall an awesome place very relaxed with amazing food and great service, genuine 10/10 will be coming back very soon 👍🏻

Gorgeous steaks cooked to perfection Staff friendly informative and attentive without being annoying Maltese cheesecake a must ! Do not go here if your veggie

First visit to the Cowshed in Liverpool this evening, and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it, food was excellent, nice starters, then I had the rib-eye and my wife had the rump, both were cooked perfectly, lovely atmosphere and staff were very friendly. Have booked to go again in a couple of weeks for my wife's birthday. I would highly recommend it.

We went here for my husbands birtday. fantastic food and resteraunt. They only do steak but it is great. Definitely recommended and we will go again when we visit Liverpool.

Steaks were incredible and so we're the desserts. Food was delicious and the staff were so accommodating. Really enjoyed a date night at the cowshed and will return again when back in Liverpool!

Steak was slightly overcooked (may have been my imprecise instruction)... Everything else was superb.. Staff went out of their way to help and advise.. Will definitely be going again.. 🤣

Atmosphere, fabulous staff amazing food and the music was great too! The seating in the restaurant is gorgeous too quite small so makes it more personal like you're at home but with an amazing chef! Loved it and will be booking again next month for my father in laws birthday meal. Cannot wait to return

Fantastic food, great service and very good value - What more could you ask for ? I would recommend the ribeye steak. Its well presented and was cooked beautifully.

Really nice food and great service, would recommend. Only problem is that the room is a bit small and everyone is sat quite close together.

The woman Serving us was really helpful and very polite (blonde hair, in a pony) i would definitely go again. She recommended the specials to us which we didn't know were available. I got the serloin steak which was very nice!! She even helped us with the sides, which i got the creamed spinach, delicious!!

Had a lovely meal at Cowshed. My boyfriend and I shared the 'Greedy Cow', all the steak was cooked beautifully. The only downside is that as it is split off into smaller rooms, staff aren't always around so can sometimes be hard to get attention.

Gorgeous steak, chips and mac and cheese croquettes are to die for. Also friendly helpful staff :) always recommend to others and will always visit again.

Excellent food and superb waiter. One steak was slightly over cooked but was replaced without any issues and was beautiful. They even gave us a complimentary drink at the end of the meal to say sorry for the error with the steak. Would recommend this restaurant to everyone.
