Food is fantastic. We've lived in Spain.and I think this food is up there. It all fresh and very authentic. Very small inside, though. Try it.
This is a real gem of a restaurant tucked away in Edinburgh's Tollcross. Tasty and authentic Spanish tapas, a specials board, and a decent wine/sherry list. A great find!
Good food, good atmosphere, good prices. Really enjoyed my experience here, seemed suitable for couples and groups. Small, so book in advance. Would definitely recommend
Fantastic menu and service. Great selection of wine and sherry. Food very good. This is our second visit in 3 weeks and it's in part of the city not local to us...but worth the journey
Good Service. It was quiet on a weekday. Food arrived promptly. Everything was very tasty. Portions are a bit small for what they cost but the quality was good. I would visit again.
From the outside El Quijote is an unassuming restaurant but while it's small it serves great tapas, we were served by a friendly waiter and enjoyed very nice beer and wine. We will be back!
Lovely food. Very nice waiter. Will definitely go back. Small intimate atmosphere. I recommend it. Had 5 tapas between two and a sweet each plus a carafe of wine. Just under £50 so not cheap.
Fabulous authentic tapas at a reasonable price. Wine was also good value. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the staff welcoming. Would thoroughly recommend and will definitely be back.
We had to wait for a little while, but the fantastic food and wine were well worth it. This is not a place in the UK. It is a place in Spain!
Great food and atmosphere. Staff very friendly and service excellent. Would definitely go again when we are in Edinburgh. Good location away from main centre.
Excellent service and Well mannered staff. Good value for money and Good location. Would recommend to others of all ages including families. Over all happy with all
Really nice Spanish restaurant in Edinburgh. Main dishes and tapas are typical from Spain and the food we tried tasted just the same as in Spain. Bravas' presentation was completely unexpected, but they were really yummy. Specially delicious was the salmorejo. Highly recomended Roberto
I don't know if 1 is good or bad - please make this clear when asking for a review - so I have given a number in the middle. The meal was excellent, food good and helpful service. I have been several times but a couple of my friends said this was their first time and they enjoyed it.
The menu is superb along with the quality of the cooking. The staff are kind and attentive and the wine list is excellent. It was a lovely evening all round.
Very good! You must try the sangria and secreto iberico, it is just a delish! Cute little restaurant where you feel welcome anytime - love this place!
A lovely Spanish corner in the middle of Edinburgh. Great food and nice atmosphere, my favourite restaurant in Edinburgh to go when I am homesick.
Authentic local Spanish restaurant with very friendly staff in central location. Best calamari we have had in ages, so much so we ordered a second portion!
Great authentic Spanish tapas and excellent service. We had all the daily special dishes and they were delicious. Staff were all from Seville so that was a nice touch. and we will definitely be back.
Brilliant food, very authentic and great atmosphere. All 5 of us loved it - classic tapas, lovely meat and lots of choice, good wine, great service.
Small but perfect service and food fab really flavoursome. Went for tapas and the pace it was served was just right so we got to taste and enjoy each of the dishes. Will definitely go back.
Excellent varied menu, with a good wine list too. We tried a range of fish and vegetarian tapas and enjoyed every one of them. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant too.
We liked the intimate atmosphere and the service from the very engaging waiter was speedy and attentive. The tapas selection we chose to share was good though not outstanding. We liked the wine selection and style - in flagons. Good value for money.
Excellent food and charming service. Although the choice of tapas is not as extensive as some places, the quality was very high. In addition to the printed menu, there is a blackboard with the specials of the day. The restaurant is decorated in a very attractive style.
This place is an absolute belter! Great atmosphere amazing food and reasonable prices. This is the first time iv ever left a review!! Thank you
Buena comida a un precio justo para estar en Edimburgo, las carnes estaban de 10, entre otros platos que también estaban muy buenos. Muy buena relación, calidad, cantidad, precio.
Fantastic restaurant, very authentic food tapas de manchego. It is very cosy and comfortable with great service, polite, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The food is incredibly tasty, it is best spanish restaurant in Edinburgh.
Excellent food, great service and good atmosphere. Very attentive staff. Our first visit but definitely won’t be the last. Will be back soon. Our new place for Spanish food.
It's usually totally fab here but our table wasn't ready and when we can back an hour later it still wasn't and we were given a tiny table meant for 2 in front of the door so we didn't stay
Disappointing food ; chewy cod, strange flavour croquettes. A real shame as the restaurant had a great ambience but service was a little slow and they did not check back to ask how the food was. We also felt rushed to leave as we were the last table.
Delicious food, inviting atmosphere and cosy surrounds. The tapas was some of the best I've tried, very recommended to all and anyone. Service with a smile.
Second visit to this small but busy restaurant and although not an extensive menu there's enough choice for a good selection of tapas or starter/main course. Great service, we will be back.
Perfect for pre theatre meal if going to the Kings Theatre. The food is wonderful and the staff friendly and helpful, if a little slow at taking our order. Would certainly return.
Cheery and authentic Spanish tapas bar - could do with a bit more vegetarian food. Nicely presented wines with a variety of glass sizes. 25
It’s a cozy restaurant, with kind service. Best Spanish food in Edinburgh. The secreto iberico is amazing. Wine list very Good. Will definitely go back.
I'm Spanish and the food was amazing. Everything was served quickly. All the typical dishes were perfectly cook. I'm looking forward to come back again!
Fantastic service, tasty food, friendly atmosphere, convenient location. The menu is very authentic and flexible as most dishes come in various portion sizes. I will definitely be back.
A Very authentic looking restaurant. Staff friendly and service quick. Highly reccomended to anyone looking for Spanish cusine. I would not hesitate to try again.
Good tasty food, value for money, attentive and helpful staff. Nice atmosphere. There were four of us and the table was really too small for comfort. Window seat also not as nice as a chair.
Lovely food and excellent wine. Would recommend as good value too. Had three of four tapas on specials board, all were really good. In particular the pork.
