A lovely atmosphere and decor. Not a warm welcome, waiting to have anyone to show us to the table, 5mins. Poor service. Slow. Ordered wine and it came when we had nearly finished main course. Asked for water, waited 10 mins and asked again. Seemed like the staff had had no training for what could be lovely fine dinning. The food was superb. Much enjoyed.

Ok food. Nice staff but ridiculously under staffed. Forgot our order because they were so rushed.

The staff seemed a little inexperienced, except for the one serving us. He was very aware of our needs and ensured we enjoyed our meal.

Had lunch with my elderly parents, very enjoyable. The restaurant was very quiet as only 4other people in. We enjoyed the 3 courses from the a la crate menu and the girl who served us was lovely and very helpful.

A real shame. Beautiful place, however, our table was late, bisto gravy and poor quality cooking generally.

Arrived 30 mins early 2:30pm. Asked if we would like to be seated now or at our requested time. We decided to have a drink in the bar area. Lovely relaxing atmosphere, service was great and very pleasant people. Food was fantastic, had early bird menu, enough to choose from and quality and quantity was enough for mid afternoon eating.

Super food and and we find a super sunny sun trap at the back on the balcony. We were very happy!

Good atmosphere all round especially with the live singer in the bar, great cocktails and the food was delicious. The service was fantastic nothing was too much trouble.

Staff and service very good. Food fairly good/good from menu

We have been here a few times and enjoyed it, this time booked a table 3 days in advance but when we arrived we had to wait half an hour because there were no tables available, manager was rude and we were more or less kicked out at 10.30pm, we were the last people in the restaurant and the staff obviously wanted to go home, we will not be returning again.

Lovely staff and I really enjoyed the food . Worth going .

Food was excellent. Seemed to be a little short staffed but staff were really good when you got their attention. Will definitely go again probably on a week night when less busy.

Staff were excellent. Food for meat eaters was amazing. We ordered a salad for a vegetarian and felt it was very over priced for what it was and lacked any creativity. We wouldn’t take any of our vegan or vegetarian friends there again. Overall, it was a great experience but they would need to improve their vegetarian choices to make us come back.

Lively atmosphere if sometimes verging on being a little noisy. First two courses of food were excellent. The dessert was disappointing, as it (different dessert) had been on a previous visit. I will skip the dessert course in future.

This is our favourite restaurant but we hadn't been for a year or so, so what was it like? Lovely food, friendly and helpful staff, and a great atmosphere. King scallop ravioli and the chicken liver parfait were gorgeous, the two steaks are cooked to perfection and so tasty. Both desserts were delicious. Still our favourite restaurant, thank you George's for a lovely evening.

Enjoyed our meal which friends were treating us too but the portions were very small,the starter was minute and the mains were very sparse too .Young staff very pleasant and helpful.

The food, atmosphere and service was great. There isn't a huge selection of dishes on offer so check before you go.

Excellent food and service, decor could do with a refurb as there was water dripping from the ceiling in part of the restaurant.

Fabulous meal with friends- fab food and service and a lovely touch when they realised it was my friends birthday and she received a complimentary cocktail!!!

The food is overpriced and average in every regard, portions are small, staff average and too busy to be attentive. For the money and experience I’d certainly consider somewhere else where you can experience far better food in better surroundings.

Service was very pleasant but the food goes down everytime we come in here, this was absolutely our last time. The parfait starter was a dry slab in toastie loaf on a plate with a slab on pate, it was embarrassing! The husbands hot dog was horrendous and had been roasted within an inch of its life, and my sons chiplotatas were the same. We left hungry as we couldn’t finish.

It was a great evening with attentive and knowledgeable staff waiting on. The food was first class with an ambiance to match. I’ve visited this restaurant many times and the last two occasions, tonight and two weeks ago today, were the best ever. Well done to all.

I appreciate it was very warm outside but I would have liked the air con turned up, it was not very cool

Poor service, inexperienced staff, serving Prosecco at the price of champagne when ordered champagne! 75 minutes wait on food when only ordered mains, waitress took the table that sat down 30 minutes after us there order! All staff seen to have no experience would really consider coming back again as had bad experience in the past but gave vouchers don’t think this experience is worth vouchers x

Great service - well paced. Nice not to be rushed. Helpful information about the menu. Some interesting dishes, if not all perfectly executed. Excellent atmosphere.
