Menu sounded good but food generally bland, not enough sauce to taste. Service was slow and no regular person monitoring.

Living nearby we thought we would give it a try. Booked online but when we got there still had to wait 10 minutes while they got our table ready. Another 20 minutes till we got a drink. Menu limited and service poor. Really disappointed

Food was nice but service was slow and we got for got about and over looked on my occasion. Didn’t expect that from a place like this. Seemed like other customer got priority.

Lovely restaurant but unfortunately we had to wait a long time for our pre booked table and then 90 minutes for our food. Service was not great as we had to repeatedly ask for our drinks. We only ordered mains so I dread to think how long we would have waited in total. Our portions were very small and only of average standard. Such a shame as a really lovely bar/restaurant. On a positive, the restaurant staff were very friendly. Disappointing.

We booked a table for early evening as we had a 2 hour drive back home. The table wasn’t ready when we arrived and was advised this would be about 10 minutes. 15 minutes later we were told it was being set. After another 5 minutes we checked on where it was up to and then shown to the table. The menu was brought over and we were advised that the waiter would be along shortly. After a while we caught the attention of one of the waitresses who said she couldn’t take orders but she’s get us some drinks. We explained that we wanted to order due to the drive home and she said the waiter was on his way. It took about another 10 minutes until we were able to order. The starter (bread plate) took about 15 minutes. There were no sticks for the olives. Then the mains were about another 1/2 hour. The risotto was lovely but the burger was extremely dry. I appreciate on a Saturday night that it is busy. However, they are clearly trying to cram as many people as possible into a relatively small place to maximise profits and consequently can’t keep up with the orders. More staff are required for such busy times both serving and in the kitchen. Very disappointed.

There was an offer on and it was a busy night the services seemed slow but the staff were very pleasant and attentive. I wasn't over impressed with my particular choice of main - beef wellington.

Great experience easy to book a table online. Lovely restaurant great service. Male manager was super friendly felt really looked after. Food was lovely to.

Food very good but service poor. After clearing our main course plates they forgot about us. We left having been offered neither desserts nor coffee and had to point out to them that they had failed to include our drinks on the bill.

We have dined here many times but our most recent lunch was disappointing. The seafood chowder was anything but - a slab of fish was served on a bed of uncooked vegetables. The main course was too salty. T

Great staff, great food and a bonus visit from the man himself. Superb wine and the early bird menu is fabulous value for money! Highly recommend.

The roast is incredible! The veg is tasty and fresh, the beef (rare) was perfect. The staff are very attentive & friendly. Highly recommend, again!

Cute place with a great atmosphere. Car park is tiny so get a taxi! Amazing food and genuinely friendly staff that don't rush you through your meal.

Excellent food but such slow service. 45 minute wait between first and second course, 20 minute wait to be served with drinks once initially seated. The food was amazing but the kitchen was really let down by front of house

The service couldn’t have been better, the staff were friendly and very attentive. The food was delicious. My only grumble is perhaps the sticky toffee pudding could have done with a bit more sauce as it was a bit dry. This was our first visit. We will definitely be going back.
