Food and service are both great, the restaurant has a good atmosphere too and the food is relatively well priced, although there could be a few more 'healthier' options if I was being picky.

This restaurant is a big favourite for a family lunch or dinner. Good food, friendly service and a lovely view of the river from the conservatory. Highly recommended.

Excellent food and service, the waiter was very attentive and made the whole dining experience a pleasure. The food and drinks were very good and nothing was rushed.

No queue, no waiting.. as soon as we arrived we had our table already available for us. The service was good, slughtly slow to bring whatever we ordered but overall it was ok

Food mediocre, to poor, service dreadful. It was a hot Saturday and clearly understaffed but I waited 40 mins for my cocktail, nearly an hour for food, when the starters arrived they had clearly been sitting around for 10 mins. My partner’s eggs benedict was cold and avocados rock hard and the ‘crispy’ bacon was soggy and undercooked despite specifically asking for crispy. That said the waiter was very apologetic and manager tried hard to make amends and clearerd our bill. I ate there a few weeks previous with my teenagers and it was fine (not great) but it was a rugby day and hot and sunny so Richmond was packed and my favourite places full so went back. Despite the lovely manager, I wont be going back.

Slightly underwhelming experience and food wasn’t very hot. My last visit here was better so it’s a shame it didn’t live up to expectations. Wouldn’t rush back sadly.

Was sat at the perfect table for my partners birthday with a lovely view of the Thames. Food was gorgeous and the staff were attentive and so nice. Such a nice atmosphere in the restaurant

The food was ok, service was not great quite slow and the drinks are ridiculoulsy expenisve- the serving sizes of the drinks are absolutley miniscule for £7-£9

Great location, pleasant but slow service & the food was very mixed. We felt that on balance it wasn't the greatest value for money. The rib eye steak was also not cooked medium rare but closer to medium & was a little chewy. The homemade lemonade is lovely & our starters were really good, but the experience dipped from then on.

It was very busy but that’s no excuse for bad food and poor service. We had to wait a very long time for our meal which non of use enjoyed. Very disappointed.

Lovely easy ambiance. Fab location overlooking river which is perfect. Helpful and Good service and food. You will spend a happy hour or so here. Enjoy!!!

Lovely spacious booth table in the window, food was delicious, drinks were great and service just right - not overly attentive or chatty, just perfect.

Love the ambiance, and atmosphere. Great customer service, food isn’t always great, (though it is perfect for Sunday brunch) but the overall experience makes it completely worth it.

Lovely however my steak came out very rare when I asked for medium. It wasn't a problem for them to cook it but when it came out again my partner had already finished his meal

It’s such a lovely venu right along the Thames. Their pancakes are delicious and the Staff are lovely. One of our fave brunch spots to return to.

Relaxed atmosphere - great sevice and delicious brunch. I recommend the Eggs Royale - brown toast, poached eggs, avocado and topped off with smoked salmon.

Lovely setting, stylish interior decor, service attentive, food great overall. But the sharing plate starters were not good value, so wouldn’t recommend them. Otherwise a very good place to eat.

Always great food. Service is attentive and consistent, but not too ‘in your face.’ Lovely view of the river and outdoor space. Always an enjoyable experience.

Although adjustments to menu items were offered, I must say it’s disappointing to still see a menu without a single vegan option. Also, plastic straws are not necessary, please seek environmentally friendly alternatives, and also only provide straws if explicitly requested. Staff were friendly, attentive and welcoming.

It was ok in there last night I’ve been a few times but the service has been better at other times probably give it a miss for a while now

Jackson and Rye has reliably good food, a lovely team of people and a great view of the river. Their salt and pepper squid is excellent!

No coffee, tea or hot drinks. Was told there were cold drinks. Ordered orange juice and was told they had run out. Screaming children inside. We left before ordering. Shame as have had great experiences before.

Coffee machine not working and food of poor quality. Very mediocre. The only good thing is the setting. Wouldn’t return and wouldn’t recommend at all

Really great food and cocktails - service mostly good but they got busy and lost control for a while - tables around us complained and we waited too long for dessert. Overall would still recommend it. Great location, not too formal.

Slow service, menu has changed for the worse. BBQ platter at £22 consisted of 3 chicken wings 2 slices of some meat and 1 very fatty small bone!

We went for breakfast with our friends and we really enjoyed it. The breakfast is a good choice but Pancake is not tasty. The staff is very nice.

Great food and service as always, a must visit if wanting breakfast / brunch in Richmond. The Heuvous Rancheros is the one! Great to sit outside on a sunny day.

Fantastic breakfast! Loved the great menu choices and it was delicious. Pancakes thick and fluffy. Great diner atmosphere and friendly staff. Lovely riverside setting. We’ll definitely be back!
