Very nice birthday lunch, just as I expected from previous visits.
Food menu very restricted. Not many choices. Not sure why.
The waiters were excellent and attentive. However the food was lack lustre and pancakes extremely dry and flavourless
The waiter was extremely helpful, atmosphere was upbeat, lovely views of the river and food was well presented and tasty.
Very good food, great location and our waiter (Josh) was really attentive.
Great food and service in great surroundings highly recommend this restaurant
Quite pricey. Good atmosphere. Good for little people. Wine ok
always a nice time here, the staff are great. we sat inside this time and had a good window seat ps I submitted this exact review earlier and they got all the scores wrong my votes are noise/wait time/service all 6/6 food/value/atmosphere all 4 or 5/6
Great location and atmosphere. Prices are on par with other similar restaurants in the area.
Perfect food great service, temperature of the room was very hot though.
Lovely warm welcome, great river view, and fantastic food 🥰
Restaurant was busy so service was very slow. Food was average. The ‘automatic’ 12.5% service charge is too high in this case.
We had a fantastic mothers day breakfast and I have to say I have been here a couple of times and no quarrels...love this place
Staff were lovely, food excellent. Fully intend to come again.
Great food, great Service ,Nice big portions, good atmosphere ,clean place, good value for money
Very pleasant Mother's Day experience. Free glass of prosecco a bonus.
We visited for brunch on Mother’s Day and it was really great. All of the staff were super helpful And friendly. The mums were given a complimentary mimosa on arrival Which was a lovely touch. The food was great and the service excellent. The staff going above and beyond to make sure my little 2yr old was comfortable and happy. We’ll definitely go back. Thank you
First time I visited, food is very average, staff were very friendly but service is terrible, super slow!! It took them 40 minutes to serve our first drink but made sure we were looked after and it was all on the house. Due to the staff being so accommodating, the experience wasn’t so bad.
Very popular restaurant in a great location on Richmond Rivetside with views over the Thames. Brunch menu is veried and tasty - avocados are a prominent featiure in a number of dishes.
I've been going to the Richmond branch of Jackson + Rye for a good few years and I don't think the choices on the brunch menu have changed in all in this time, except for the increase in prices. The food is still tasty but on our last visit the waiter, although efficient, couldn't muster a smile.
Jackson and Rye made my birthday experience fantastic! As a special request, I asked for birthday cake and wishes (thinking it was a long shot and partially joking) and they actually brought me a free dessert accompanied with a lovely birthday song! I had an excellent experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! Thank you so much! :)
Very pleasant evening for a small group with a 6 yr old. Staff were friendly and attentive and took note that it was a special occasion. Wonderful fillet steak for a fantastic price.will be back.
Visited for brunch - everyoneat our table of 5 were impressed with their meals particularly the Forager and Huevos Rancheros. Lovely decor and good service. Only downside was that we visited with a baby and suprisingly there was no baby change in the toilets that we could find so had to do it on the ground in a ladies cubicle which is not ideal.
Not very good service at all. The food was average.
The pancakes were not good and portions were small for all the items we ordered.
The best brunch in Richmond and great service from staff!
Good value lunch menu in a lovely location by the river
It was a great brunch at J+R, excellent and attentive service despite being very busy. Food and Bloody Marys were also top notch
smaller menu and changes wine list but still ok Thanks
We come here for brunch all the time. The service is friendly and the food is great. Definitely would recommend booking a table as it gets busy on the weekends.
Loved the pancakes but portions could have been a bit bigger. Still felt a little hungry after the pancakes but mostly, it was a little sad to have half a skinny banana with the pancakes.
Good service. Buzzy atmosphere but my burger was a little on dry side. Steaks were delicious though.
Good value. Excellent location. Staff very nice and helpful. Food very good
Expensive but good steaks, will come again but not spend so much
Food was really good. Service could have been better but still an enjoyable breakfast!
Food was not very good, service was slow, my order was changed in the kitchen to make it gluten free but I wasn’t told it would be different
Sat right next to lots of dirty glasses and mugs. It’s also had people constantly going past. Bringing more dirty mugs and so on. Had to ask for our drinks 3 times. Starter arrived before drinks did. Asked for a vegetarian starter and it came with meat.
Great setting, quite good food, poor service. Would go again
Excellent location and friendly and family atmosphere with decent food at fair price. What else could you ask? Would recommend
Food was amazing. Waiter was attentive and gave good service.
