Great service and attention to detail. Atmosphere and food excellent. Good price. Not a problem when we asked for prompt service before the theatre. Will definitely visit again.
Always excellent! The lunch offer of one course with a drink was excellent value. Looking forward to sitting outside again in the summer months. Thank you!
Have been numerous times but this time food quality deteriorating - Overpriced starters and food not cooked to specification - we did a free desert as compensation.
Prompt friendly service . Food very good and served with a smile . Location is also very nice with views of the river . Will go again
Great food we found the staff very efficient which is helpful at lunchtime for a working lunch. Reasonable prices with a lovely view of the river.
Food was amazing& service just as great- Went for a birthday and each of us got a free prosecco. We will be back again very soon! Recommend for birthdays or just a tasty meal. Thanks
Absolutely perfect! I booked this without knowing anything about it. I also sent a message to say it was my boyfriend’s birthday so could we have a table looking onto the river. When we walked in all the waiter’s welcomes us and wished him a happy birthday and they gave us a lovely table overlooking the river. The food was fantastic, we both had steak which was one of the best I’ve ever had, and the waitress that looked after us was brilliant; lovely, attentive and spot on. When we had dessert, they put a candle in it and sang happy birthday. The atmosphere was warm, classy and just lovely and even though it was a Monday, there was a lovely buzz, which was thanks to the wonderful staff. In addition, the bill was really reasonable too. It was an absolutely perfect night and I can’t recommend this place highly enough. If you go, which I hope you will, I hope you have as wonderful a night as we did.
The food was amazing one of the best brunch I have had. Staff where lovely and super handful. I will definitely be going back again
Good food and friendly atmosphere. The service was a little on the slow side considering it was not very busy but the staff were friendly and food was tasty.
Normally the food here is great but we had issues with the pancakes and had to send them back, more than once. Although the manager was very attentive and discounted our bill so I can’t fault them too much. We will be back.
Fantastic restaurant and the service was great. We went on a quiet Sunday evening and although not many customers, we were not rushed at all. Food was cooked brilliantly, both had the sirloin steak. This is a great restaurant for food food in a relaxed atmosphere
we were greeted warmly at the door and shown to our table. service was very good and friendly. The atmosphere was warm and the food was good and as expected. A great place to meet up and catch up. Thanks
Party of 9 (from 72 - 22 and including 10 week old baby) warmly welcomed, all had a great time and food was good too.
Great Atmosphere. Delicious Food. Super Staff. Good Music. Brilliant views on river. Nice Location. All great. It is really warm, welcoming and good for the soul on a cold, windy and wet day. After a walk.
The food was delicious, great portion sizes and hot out of the kitchen. Was very quiet but service was great and the atomosphere was very welcoming.
I didn’t get the names of individuals, But I must say that all three people were friendly ,curteous and efficient, We had great service. They helped make my friends 80 th birthday lunch happy and memorable for her. Thank you all .
Poor service and seated in a corner with 4 of us at a table for 2 when the rest of the restaurant was basically empty. Good service might have rescued this butbpoor service made situation worse.
Enjoyable meal. Food was very good, staff friendly and great friendly service. The location next to the river makes for a great dining experience. Would definitely recommend.
Great food and lovely atmosphere. Quick service as well which is always important when dining with children. We always enjoy our brunch here. Be sure to make a reservation.
The food was nice but I was disappointed with the service. We had booked a table some days before but were put on a table in a corner next to a large group despite other tables being free. It felt very cramped and so we asked to move. Our waiter showed no enthusiasm or interest. It was a joint birthday celebration and that had been mentioned on the booking form and I thought one of the staff might have said happy birthday especially as we were unwrapping presents. The restaraunt also felt cold and we had to wrap ourselves in our coats. I was not impressed.
Great riverside location- fantastic dessert...Also good selection of steaks - not a huge menu but what they have is worth having. Service was good but this place can get very busy on weekends in my experience it’s best to book
Eggs came a little undone after asking it well done. Also had to signal the waitress at least 4 times for service. Expected more from J&R. Overall food was great. Juices are poor. Not fresh, straight from a bottle.
Was nice food think the set menu could made clearer as it looks like if you have a main cours you get a drink but with two or three you don’t
Our meal was good and the atmosphere was really nice. Service was a little slow
It's a lovely place with great view and nice stuffs. The food was good, we have got king shrimp which was very good and tasty and also we have got bevedett stack which was not the perfect one. They served it as requested medium red but i think it was mostly red and hard to chewing. We asked for re do it and cook it a bit more. They did it but still it was not easy to chew the meat. In general i would say we like it and we have a lovely time there. I would recommend it
Lovely fuss free restaurant in Richmond, usually of a high standard in service. Kitchen appears to have gone a bit downhill however. Quality of food at last visit was poor for the price paid. Eg very small soggy but burnt croquettes, which suggests re-heating? Over cooked and dry chicken wings. Salty linguine, over cooked and dry roast salmon etc. This was unusual so I can only imagine a change of chef or cook as it was a very high standard previously. Very surprised and a little embarrassed as I had guests. Still paid the 12.5% tip for the waiter which some would disagree with. Anyway, still very good ambience and customer service and a good bar service for drinks.
Service was good, food was OK, the salmon gave one of our party food poisoning and she was up all night with diarrhoea and vomiting.
Thankyou for making our New Years Eve so special. The meal was superb the staff were so professional smiling and attentive. We had a fantastic time🤗🤗🤗
We enjoyed a very nice early New Year’s Eve dinner with the family tonight. Food was great and staff were very attentive & friendly. Thank you!
Great for Sunday brunch, the staff are friendly and efficient and the food is tasty, especially the pancakes. The restaurant is also good for children.
This was the perfect venue for two families aged from 11 and upwards to meet on Christmas Eve. Good atmosphere, nice food and friendly service.
Service excellent. Nice table with a good view of the Thames. Did the lunch deal, excellent value, really enjoyable food. It was unusual and very tasty.
Our waiter Ciro was exceptionally wonderful and the food lovely, especially the banana pancakes. Highly recommend, if not for the food go for the wonderful service
Lovely cocktails delicious food and friendly service from the moment we entered until leaving the delightful waitress was friendly smiling and attentive. We ordered cocktails that were not on the menu and were accommodated without fuss. Shrimp burger was delicious and sourdough bread was excellent
Great meal in a great atmosphere. We’ve eaten here few times with friends and family and never been disappointed with the food or the service.
Service was good: prompt and unobtrusive. Fixed price lunch menu was good value. Food was well presented and tasty. Liked the water bottles, without charge.
Great choice of food and drinks, excellent friendly service. I have been there before and will certainly return again. Perfect location on the Thames in Richmond. Highly recommended.
We had a lovely meal, food was really nice, thank you!
We enjoyed our meal, always nice to come here! Thanks
Excellent food and very lovely with the children! A nice brunch place with a great view without it being child unfriendly! The lift up to the entrance was broken on yhe day we went so not ideal for pushchairs or wheelchair users that day!
Nice restaurant and good menu options. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. We will be back. I would recommend the chicken burger and also the cheesecake
Don't have the minute steak its like shoe leather! Why not serve a better quality meat in the first place. My guest was too polite to complain as I paid the Bill I heard through other friend later.
Excellent service, good enough food, small portions, weird for an American Diner, but ok because none of us need to be greedy. Ciro the waiter great with young children.
We had a lovely brunch with kir royale - a great location with great service, friendly staff and really tasty food. Looking forward to going back.
Always great service. The kids love it too! Great brunch spot.
The food was great and the service was good considering how busy it was! Would recommend it to anyone travelling to Richmond even on a match day at Twickenham!
Wonderful setting overlooking the Thames and Richmond Bridge. We had great food which came very quickly. Lovely decor and ‘feel’, excellent service. I’d highly recommend.
The brunch was delicious and the drinks were well made. We experienced great service from l the staff. We had a very young baby and found the restaurant very baby friendly
Service was slow. We’d been there an hour by the time our starters were cleared. Thanksgiving lunch was sad with just 1/2 a sweet potato and a hunk of gravy covered meat. No other vegetables. Pudding was good. For what it was £29.95 was a lot to pay for 3 courses.
Food was ok nothing special, no atmosphere, really quiet only 4 other people there. Service ok. Not sure I’d rush to go back. The Gavi Di Gavi was horrendously overpriced
