Such a lovely restaurant, warm feeling in winter setting , polite waiters. Didn’t have to wait long for food and tasted amazing. Will definitely be going back soon.

I was slightly disappointed with my visit this time. I'd ordered 'The Forager' and it was a mix of hot and cold food. The tomatoes were cold, and everything else was luke warm, except I'd asked for poached eggs instead of fried, and they were hot. It was as if the food had been pre-cooked and then left sitting for some time before being served.

Food was okayish nothing special, service generally poor. Drinks not arriving, waiters not listening and rude. 12.5% service charge which I didn’t complain about as it was a celebratory brunch

Lovely location on the river. Was very busy due to the rugby being on at Twickenham Service was slow, especially drinks which should be improved Food very tasty

We had the set menu (£15) for ATG theatre goers. Good value for money with squid for a starter (could have had a little more squid!) and Minute steak for main course. Food was prompt and steak cooked to perfection. Great service with an attentive and friendly, but not bothersome waitress. Included a glass of Prosecco which was chilled and smooth, not sharp. Peaceful atmosphere with no music blaring out so we could actually have a relaxed conversation. Will certainly go back.

Great food, service was a bit slow but they were quite busy given it was the rugby. If you like bubbles the £35 champagne was very good value for money 👍🏻

We had the best waiter ever, doing magic tricks to the kids and really lovely. Calamari starter was great. Kids foods were great. Prawn linguinea was ok but too salty. Bbq platter was average, although sweet potato chips were perfect.

The restaurant itself is beautifully set up, the bar filled with luscious ferns and a modern and old style feel. The staff were exceptionally friendly, prompt and happy with any changes our table made to their selection. The food was delicious and highly recommend their brunch and some pancakes because you can! Thanks to the team!

Richmond. A beautiful location by the river! Breakfast was lovely. The service was excellent, however the coffee was bloody awful. It was exactly the same awful coffee (Soya Latte) as per my last visit

The portions were small and what you got was over priced, the gratuity was added to bill with the expectation you would pay. Plus point Staff lovely.

The location was lovely, however, the service was really slow, the staff were not very personable and the food was average. I think they should also not try and squeeze so many tables in the restaurant, it was so crammed.

It was Ok. Drink service was slow and we had to remind our waiter a few times to get our ordered drinks with the food. We had one vegetarian friend with us. There is only one vegetarian main option on the card which was not ideal.

Go for some nice food and views of the Thames but definitely not services!! Sunday lunch served by a unprofessional male waitor, dump the water bottle on our table and turn away without saying anything at all. Hardly see him smile in the whole experiences. Unfortunately compulsory tips.

Another very enjoyable evening. The weather didn't allow us to sit outside and appreciate the river view but a table at the window was the next best thing. Good value for money.

This was our second time at a Jackson and Rye restaurant. The first was not a good experience in Guildford. However the Richmond branch was a completely different story. The food and service was excellent as was the ambiance of the restaurant. Unfortunately it was dark and rainy but I would image on a beautiful sunny day the views of the Thames would be worth a table on its own. Well done Jackson and Rye.

Excellent food and service, attention to detail as well (ironing the table cloths, bringing cold glasses for the beer etc.) We had a table by the window too, so could enjoy the great views of Richmond Bridge and the river.

We went for brunch and the food and drinks were good and very reasonably priced. Service was ok, there didn’t seem to be one person in charge of our table so we got asked the same questions repeatedly but overall it was nice.

Great location and nice ambience... service needs to be improved.. the bottle of white wine cane and was warm.. when I said it needed to be cold the waitress said it will get cold in the wine bucket !! We sent it back and they replaced with a cold one.. chips served with the delicious burger were stone cold.. but were replaced with hot ones when we complained

We went there back in early August for our anniversary. Food and service was fab, so went back with some friends. Unfortunately service was not what we had previously experienced, very slow and orders incorrect. Steaks still good but maybe confusion on what is medium and what is rare, very and therefore spoilt meal. It's still a great eat, but your waitress should not be telling you orders are wrong , as was one of our steaks sizes, because I'm busy tonight😞

Perfect lunch to celebrate two family birthdays: the food suited everyone from steak and chips to a delicious grilled chicken salad. The staff were very thoughtful and the desserts arrived with candles for my daughter and grandson, which made it a very special occasion. The location overlooking the river is great.

Waitress struggled with her English and I initially wasn't confident she would get the order right, but turned out to be a pleasure and provided great service. I ordered Rib eye steak medium rare - which was quite poor (very fatty and under cooked), but other dishes were good. They ran out of cold beer - not something I've ever experienced in an American steakhouse (which this is trying to be), but staff were apologetic. Decor is great, good atmosphere in a beautiful location, with great staff, let down by average food.
