Nice meal with friends in a relaxed atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good and extra gravy provided on request. We had the 2 course Sunday lunch menu which at £12.95 was priced very reasonably. Never fail to enjoy our visits to this restaurant.

Great little French restaurant. Excellent service. Ate upstairs but good atmosphere everywhere. Last had visited in 2007 and hoped would live up to happy memories from that time which it definitely did. Highly recommend

Service was a haphazard...no plate for the bread, mistake over wine volume. The duck was excellent, the chicken no better than I could cook at home, and I hope for more in a restaurant.

Lovely friendly restaurant with excellent food and the service was impeccable - would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant. Visited with a friend for lunch but have also been previously as part of a group of eight - there was no difference in quality of food or the service experienced with the larger group. Wonderful experience and brilliant value for money on both occasions.

Delightful evening, good value for money, well cooked delicious food, and charming courteous service from Charlotte. We mentioned that it was our wedding anniversary and were spontaneously given a complementary glass of prosecco to celebrate- how kind! Recommended.

Good meal - nice restaurant. Nice ambience and comfortable table. Regarding the food: Starter: Pate poor for a French restaurant - served with a fairly pathetic amount of toasted French bread - why don't they just give you good old French baguette - not very French! Main: linguine - very good Dessert: chocolate tart - excellent. Service was good, wine tasty and reasonable price.

Food on the day was fine, however, the service was something to be desired, the waiter wanted to take the food order prior to the drinks order, we had to remind him a couple of times before we got what was a very nice bottle of wine, following our food order I requested some bread to indulge in the gravy from the boeuf bourguignon, unfortunately this arrived 15 mins later only to be sent back as I had completed my meal, shame, in conclusion, great layout, nice french atmosphere, just managed on the cheap, real shame...

Long wait for food and small portions. It’s a shame because we really like this restaurant but it let itself down today. Not in a hurry to go back

Disappointing experience on Friday evening such a contrast to Saturday lunch experience - I put this down to the staff and chef being different - they were distinctly average which is a shame as this place is distinctly different on a Saturday lunchtime.

I'd like to stress that we had a lovely meal! I did find the starters a little disappointing, just small details, but the toast was more like warm bread and the rocket salad was lacking rocket. The main courses were absolutely delicious, and the wait staff were lovely and attentive. We will be back soon!

Lovely food, great wine and excellent service. Will definitely be visiting again, would recommend. Relaxed and informal, great for couples and small groups. You need to book to ensure that you get a table as it's very popular.

Service was great, but Food was lacklustre. Sea bass was tasteless (with very overpowering sun-dried tomatoes), and the muscles were stale and meaty. The 'French bread' was pale and soft.

Our first visit and very impressed. It was early evening and only a handful of tables were in use so there was a nice atmosphere but not busy. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and attentive. My dining partner raved about the pork belly. We will definitely be returning.

Food was lovely and the portion sizes were great. Prices are very good and you can eat very cheaply if you go mid-week. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. A gem for sure Service was 3/5 kinda service - but I think that's just because the waitress was new. Sure she will improve

Lovely French atmosphere in the middle of Nottingham. There were three choices of vegetarian dishes which was good for a French restaurant. The waiter was charming and helpful and the food was perfect.
