Excellent food and service.Staff very helpful and pleasant. A very good experience - once again! We take a 94 year old aunt for lunch every second Friday and this is probably the best experience we have at The Battlefield Rest.

Food was delicious as always & great service. This is why it is our favourite restaurant! We always recommend this place to our friends and family.

The food and service was very good. The manager gave us a nice table by the window, too. It was good value for money considering we had 3 courses and a few drinks, as well.

It has been a while since I visited Battlefield Rest having moved from the area. Good to see that the quality of food and service are still of a high standard. There is a varied menu to suit all tastes and it is good value.

Have been using Battlefield Rest for more years than I care to remember. Excellent food, excellent staff. To my mind it is a very traditional Italian Restaurant not like some of restaurants today.

The standard of food is always very high. Service is excellent and it is very good value. I would highly recommend it as a super place to dine.

Table wasn’t ready on our arrival and we had to wait 20 minutes Food ok but still pricey for a plate of pasta Was a cold night

Excellent food and service as usual. The beef cheek melts in your mouth! Had it xmas eve too. Complimentary vino as my birthday was appreciated too!

Even though it was early on a Monday evening the restaurant was still pretty busy. The food was excellent and all 4 of us were extremely happy with the experience.

Service could have been better it was busy but when we arrived had to wait for at least five minutes or more to be shown to our table. Then when given menus asked waiter if we could order from the A la Carter section he said yes. Then when different waiter arrived to take order he said no we had to chose from the two lunch time menus. The food was very nice & very good value

We love Battlefield Rest. It is the best Italian restaurant on the South Side of Glasgow. We love going there. Food is excellent. The service is prompt and attentive. You couldn't ask for more.

Fabulous restaurant. Food is always fantastic any time we have been, great atmosphere, wonderful menu to choose from, authentic surroundings and staff always very friendly, would thoroughly recommend going to anyone.

Meal was lovely. Did not feel rushed. Staff friendly. The only negative would have to be that it was cold in the restaurant, which made it uncomfortable.

Fantastic food, and great service, the Battlefield Rest never fails to please. We compare everywhere we go to their standards, and always conclude they are the best!
