The Mandarin Fusion

Fantastic food great service. We ordered from the tapas menu 3 dishes for £7.50. Excellent value great for 6 of us sharing. Also ordered takeaway for my son who is vegan. They had a separate vegetarian menu and where happy to ask the chef to make adjustment for vegan. Will definitely eat here again and happy to recomend.

Food was excellent, service was ok but the background music was to loud not giving a relaxing environment we left as soon as the meal was over.

We've been eating at this restaurant for years. It seems the addition of the word fusion into the cuisine type also means slightly smaller portions. In our case this is fine and doesn't detract from the experience at all. One genuine downside for us is that food warmers are no longer used. Yes the plates arrive hot but they arrive well in advance of the food which renders the idea of heating the plates a redundant exercise. I'm being a bit picky but this is something they need to rectify but having said all of that, we'll be back.

Wonderful restaurant. Great food. Have been coming to this restaurant for the past 5 years when in Bournemouth. Best Chinese can't be beaten. Highly recommended.

We have been going to The Mandarin for many years, usually for special family occasions, this was our sons 28th birthday! The welcome and service were both sadly lacking....hardly a smile in the place!!! Everyone seemed really stressed and we had to ask for things a few times, even the bill!! We were pleased with the food, but everything else was very disappointing!! Have been put off coming again for a while!!

Food and service was good until they got busy than couldn't look after the table. Hard to catch waiter for service and had to go to bar to request extra items. Portion small. Food taste and flavour fantastic Will go to celebrate rather than meal out

Lovely restaurant serving great quality food. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Nice place to go for a celebration meal - highly recommended. .

The man was very helpful, did ask for mild no spicey food did come very hot so one dish was not edible for my girlfriend, the restaurant was very cold table next to is still had there coats on. Overall very nice food, reasonably priced and would return

Stunning food very reasonable quick and friendly service. If we didn't live in Pembrokeshire Wales we would be more regular visitors. Two mains with sides, a pint and a coke £31 we were well chuffed

The food and service where great, we went there for our 27th wedding anniversary and where not dissapointed in anyway, the best chinese food in the south

Food was very good but all staff and manager too busy so we were served by different staff for each course. Manager was clearly under pressure

The staff are lovely, the good was amazing, all come out hot and tasted great. Would definitely come back again. The prices are not to bad either.
