Great atmosphere in this pub always. Lovely staff and good menu - the roast wasn't as tasty as it has been before. Everything tasted like it had been sitting for ages (no pink meat, rock hard potatoes) but the portion size is always impressive. Would still come back as it's a lovely little local

We had great, prompt and friendly service. The food was delicious. Chef made an unexpected substitution but our server could not have dealt with this better. Five stars!!!!!!

Really lovely food, bar was a bit slow so getting a drink took ages, but overall great experience would recommend.

Staff all good. Beef burger and chicken burgers not what they have been previously. Beef burger quite wet. Chicken burger quite plain.

The pies are usually great, this time they were good. The service was unusual but still good

Excellent food, great value for money with the August 50% off off food (mon - thur) Think they were a little understaffed as the service was a bit slow. Having said that, the waiting staff were super friendly and overall a great night

Great experience here today for Sunday roast with friends. The staff were SUPER friendly, helpful and caring. Food was amazing! Service was a tad slow but that was OK as we wanted a chilled Sunday afternoon. The 2 staff covered the whole restaurant and bar on their own. They were rushed off their feet but always had a smile and time to chat. Even when rain water flooded through the ceiling the team members remained calm, collected and super efficient. This was my favourite visit to the Tommyfield. Thanks!

Lovely airy space, great food (we had their pie and steak, both delicious), and the waiters were so friendly and attentive

Great service, we came at happy hour so the 2 for one beer was a bonus. We all had the beef pie which was delicious.

Lovely evening. Very attentive staff and fabulous food. Ambience was ok but lacked a bit of oomph. Loud high spirited party in main bar and tv showing sport and a bored looking foreign couple was not exactly the best of entertainment, but at least I had fantastic company at my table

The food is great and the staff are really nice and helpful. Bit expensive but if you have a tastecard it's very affordable! The pies are particularly great, as is the Tuesday quiz.
