The Tommyfield

If you like pies, you'll like Tommyfields! I've been there for meals a couple of times and it's been excellent on both occasions. Friendly staff too.

Great atmosphere and lovely pies ! Unfortunately forgot to serve the Camembert to start, but service was excellent otherwise. Will certainly be booking again soon

Order any one of the pie's and you can't go wrong.

The food was excellent and the service friendly and unobtrusive. We used a Taste Card which made this meal very good value for money indeed.

Friendly staff and tasty food . Waiting staff were a little slow to clear the dishes and didn't quite grasp the concept of wanting cold milk for tea !

Came for a Sunday Roast as the food always looks amazing. Roast was great - staff are friendly too. The comedy club on a Thursday is lots of fun.

We love Tommyfields and the pork on mash potatoes is to die for. Never disappointed. The food is excellent. The atmosphere is comfortable and warm. I love it. One of my favorite restaurants in London.

Well that was a shame. No more fish on the menu, small selection of mediocre ales and awful, unnecessary music. You need to update your polished website!

Great food in a friendly atmosphere. We had the warm Camembert, which was amazing. By chance we ran into a pub quiz on the night, which was fun.

The food in Tommyfield is excellent I don't think we've had a bad meal at all in the last 4 months we've been going. There is a slight issues with the drains from the toilets which would be my only complaint. Very nice pub, friendly staff and good prices.

Food was good, service also very attentive. Best place for a roast in Kennington. Food has improved and we will definitely be back again soon

Dinner for 6. Very relaxed, not rush. Very pleasant, knowledgeable staff. Excellent food. Overall a very enjoyable evening. I'd recommend wholeheartedly. I recommend booking. It's a busy place and tables go quickly. I put great value for price, but that's based on us using 2 tastecards to get discount for 6 people. No waiting time because we had a reservation.

Lovely way to spent my birthday with family. My pie was the perfect comfort food, and the service was good. I even got a candle in my desert - thank you!

The food was good but service was slow and inattentive: a side-dish was not delivered and we were harassed at our table by a vagrant, which the staff either did not notice or ignored.

Had the roast chicken for Sunday lunch, it was fantastic. Great portion size and the bread sauce was absolutely delicious. Only thing that could have been slightly improved was the speed of service, but they did well for a busy Sunday service.

The food was very nice and we used a tastecard so got 50% off. We attended the quiz which was really well done and the staff were friendly.

Second first to The Tommyfield. Was so impressed the first time we brought a friend this time who was visiting from overseas. Very pleasant and helpful staff, great beer and delicious food.

Great food, service and great choice of drinks. Staff were so nice felt guilty with having 50% off food and 2 for 1 drinks! Double tipped them. They gave us the best table in the house and could not have done more. Food great but had too many starters so no room for mains!

Waitress was very helpful as our son has a nut and sesame seed allergy. Food and service was very good. No complaints especially with 50% off food voucher.

Summer deal with 50% off food is amazing!! We both had the steak which was tender and perfectly cooked. Good wine, great atmosphere, friendly staff
