Nice to be back for the comedy. Came for food before as Tastecard still available, so good value. Limited menu at the moment, but still do good pies, burgers, and fish and chips

Decent place & even better Sunday dinner the service was great also no waiting times as we used Quandoo but I could see it having a longer wait time if you don’t book.

The food was excellent and the service very friendly and attentive.

As usual The Tommyfield delivered a first class experience. Enhanced by Hector, our waiter. We are a group of 6 who have been visiting monthly for our Book club meeting. The pies are to die for., as was the fish and chips. The Rambler white wine is great at £19 a bottle. Roll on next month for another visit.

Staff tried really hard to accommodate our needs (as we had an extra diner & the placed was packed - post lockdown). They were excellent, albeit mega-busy!!

It was brilliant to be able to return to our local after the lifting of lockdown! Great to see the same staff on duty, and the same food quality on offer. Covid related: hand sanitiser was available, and clients encouraged to use it before sitting down, tables were very well-spaced, and staff were wearing face coverings.

Food was brilliant as was the service, really good moist nut roast and a banoffee pie that I don’t think you could beat anywhere.

Terrific Sunday roast, as usual, food quality was excellent, both of our calamari starter and our roasts (I'm not vegetarian but usually order the nut roast here as it's so good) and service was superb - friendly, fast and efficient. Great value and lovely atmosphere.

Possibly the most unfriendly service that I've experienced in London, and that's saying something. Our waitress was sour-mannered and made us feel like an inconvenience. Our evening at The Tommyfield was topped off by the three guests who had fish being unwell throughout the night, with one being physically sick. Although I've just moved in down the road, I don't think I'll be visiting again.

Stayed here for a night so chose to eat here too as they give 50% off for guests (and 50% off to all during January anyway!). Had a great stay and also a great meal. All the staff were exceptionally lovely, attentive and friendly and the landlady was mucking in and was engaging and attentive. Great vibe, good food and drink choices and the fish and chips were sublime. Brilliant all round.

They've upped their game with the food - today the chicken Sunday roast was superb, and I've had it there many times over the years. Service very friendly though slightly chaotic today...
