Staff were really brilliant, great selection for gluten free. Menu was really good

Mixed; one meal was very good, equal to our high expectations. Sadly, the Risotto dish badly missed the mark on this occasion. I was offered a replacement meal, and we were not charged for the risotto. It was a bit disappointing though. We shall go back another time though, we have never been disappointed at this restaurant before.

It was fine. Service was great.,it was rather dark where we sat….there was a huge plant on tne windowsill blocking out the view over tne river…which seemed a shame on such a lovely sunny day. Wine was good. My pork loin was rather tough. I wish I had gone for tne fish like my friend did.

Food was really delicious, staff were very friendly and attentive. Beautiful setting and characterful restaurant with lovely candles. Top notch!

Great options for gluten-free, and generally a nice range of items on the menu. Really super place.

Great food and fast service which impressed our US guests

We had a splendid lunch of two starters each I had a herring & potato salad followed by fish cakes with salad & a glass of house white . My companion chose Beetroot & peanut salad and then chicken liver pate . All deliciously fresh & the substantial portions meant no room for pudding afterwards .

Food was okay. But atmosphere ruined by two badly-behaved small children at next table with selfish parents who just focused on their own lunch.

Lack of quantity and quality produce. We were sat down to a very sticky table which made it difficult to lift the menu. Had to ask waitress to come and wipe it down. Seafood stew lacked seafood and very watery. Beef served in a tasteless spongy bun. Sweets however were lovely and filling. Overall pretty disappointed and won’t hurry back.

We all enjoyed a lovely meal, plenty of choice for vegetarian and pescatarians .

The Sunday roast sirloin roast was very good as well as the fish & chips . great recommendation by our friends & now we are recommending it too . We were in East Lothian giving our family visiting from the US a tour around the area all the way to North Berwick & it was a good place to stop for Sunday lunch .

Great food but poor table at end of very noisy bar where glasses being cleaned. Table was cramped, should not really have been in use. A shame really.

Beautiful day in beautiful surroundings enjoying delicious food. The lentil and bacon soup, scallops with black pudding and burger were all enjoyed by my companions while I found the pulled pork tacos in bbq sauce with coleslaw and chips absolutely delicious. To finish we scoffed down the cherry clafoutis and the lemon posset with honeycomb shards.
