Lovely quiet lunch with only a few other diners , unusually . Fish & chips were great & a half fillet perfect quantity .

we ordered the salmon and seabass with salad and the breaded chicken with savoury rice and Thai red sauce which was very nice, followed by the Baileys profiteroles. Service excellent as always.

A wonderful, tasty roast beef lunch. James and Mark always make you feel so welcome. Cosy atmosphere, is a wee gem of a restaurant in Haddington!

Great location and food for a catch up with family.

We enjoyed the cod loin with veg and new potatoes and the turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Staff so friendly and obliging and the service of a high standard.

We had a fantastic family meal at the Waterside for Christmas Eve. The service is always so fantastic, friendly, and welcoming. The food was lovely and delicious and the menu had options for everyone. Such a great atmosphere and a wonderful way to spend Christmas Eve!

The food was excellent in such a cosy inviting bistro. The most amazing staff welcoming, informative and extremely helpful. A very varied menu with good portion size and pricing. This is second time at the bistro and will certainly be visiting again in the near future.

We had a table for four for lunch. Impressed by the welcome ; table ready and service very good. Food was very good but we all felt the portion size was too much and could have been reduced. Will definitely go again

Food was great. The salmon starter was sensational..... two snippets of information though. A better description of the soup would have been helpful as it was VERY spicy but told to us as mildly spiced. 2 people tested it and commented it was "vindaloo hot" and we like hot food. One person asked for boiled potatoes, but they were new potatoes with skin on which wasnt what was asked for.

Never been here before but will be back. The menu is excellent. Venison casserole my husband had was delicious but as important, the vegetables were well cooked and varied. Godd selection of starters and half portion available. A great find. Busy with a friendly atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

Such a lovely venue. One of my favourite places on Haddington. Service is top notch. You are well looked after by the staff. It is a bit pricey though the quality is great.
