Good place to meet and food is tasty. It can feel like a canteen so not for special occasions in my view.

Rarely ever too busy, but always popular. Heddon Street is quiet and atmospheric. You can only book tables downstairs for larger groups. Food options are constantly changing, but always great, and Tuesday is now regularly all vegan options (except some cakes at the till).

Really great atmosphere. Great concept with a really good variety of vegan food. Couple of carnivores with us also had a good meal. Will definitely be going back

We have been to Tibits several times. It is one of our favourite restaurants. Great food. Pleasant staff. The ambience is good but can be improved.

The person who greeted at was unhelpful and made us feel unwelcome in spite of having a reservation so we left without eating. We had two over 70. She gave us a choice of either sitting downstairs or on bar stools. When we offered to wait as long as she could give us an ETA, she refused.

Great food and cocktails. The self service set up is really convenient if you have somewhere to be afterwards. The food can be a little on the pricey side but only if you start piling your plate really high.

Lovely vegan and vegetarian self service food. We met there with friends so we could chat and actually hear each other unlike in many restaurants. Slightly pricey though.

Just what was needed. Everyone had what they wanted. We could sit outside. The choice of food was excellent. No one missed having meat. Excellent.

Great food, self service concept is actually quite relaxing, and the helpful staff gave us a table in the kid's area which was a godsend with two under-3's in tow!

Too many ingredients with onion and garlic which I don’t eat and hopefully there will be more options for non-onion and non-garlic food. Most are cold dishes. It will be appreciated if there are more hot ones.

Very good food and a great atmosphere; the service was good as well. An average plate (about 8 scoops between any different dish) would be around £15 (as your plate is weighed) and dessert would be between £4 and £6 - in all, quite good prices for a restaurant very near Piccadilly. There is a good selection of food all clearly labeled as to whether they are Vegetarian or Vegan and if they contain gluten, soy, nuts etc.; there's a good range of hot and cold dishes available too. My one suggestion for the menu though would be to have slightly more soft drinks/juices; though what's currently on the menu is still OK. This has only been my second time to this vegetarian/vegan restaurant and I would definitely visit again.

Food is great, location is great, and in general the restaurant is lovely. The staff behind the bar are a bit glum and unhelpful though. Only thing preventing a top review.

Easy self-service, helpful staff great food thanks, when we asked to move from downstairs there was no fuss. The sticky toffee pudding needs no words of praise and the Panna cotta was delicious

The food is great and reasonably priced. I felt the staff could have been a bit more accommodating with my table, where we were put down in the basement on a hot summers evening on our own when I felt we could have been accommadated outside where there were free tables. But the staff didn’t even try. Having worked in customer service I would have made the effort to make a reservation the best experience.

Great food on vegan night,so good to be able to walk into a restaurant and eat anything that's there. The buffet boat at Tibits offers a great selection of food.

As always the good at Tibits was great last night, wish they would do more vegan only days. But that said, I always enjoy my visits.

Lots of variety and options at the buffet - can get a bit expensive but that's what you pay for good quality, natural food! Nice atmosphere and the feeling that you can stay for as long as you like, good place to catch up with friends

Informal and friendly with a great selection of tasty vegetarian/vegan dishes. This is the second time I have been with friends and have enjoyed very much. My (vegan) friend wonders if Tibits could open a branch in Brighton?

Heddon Street, is just a little street with some such a wonderful selection of restaurants, it was difficult to choose but we decided to try this concept of having a buffet and only pay for the amount of food you eat, so chose your food, weight the plate and pay for it. Everything is fresh, healthy and delicious.

Nice location and very tasty healthy food - an enjoyable location for sunny lunches away from the buzz of nearby Regent Street. The place is a bit pricy though, which prevents me from giving it a 6.

A little oasis off Regents St. Great selection of tasty dishes from round the world. I would cheerfully eat here any time I am in London. Examlles of food include fragrant curry, spicy falafel, baked quiches, a dozen hot veg and similar number of salads and veg carpaccio (loved that! Comfortable seats and tables inside or outside. Staff calm, polite smart and attentive but not fussy. Nice glass of prosecco and a dry rose wine. Good choice of wines and beers. A great little find and will defo be back there again!

The food was great and delicious although I did feel a little pricey. As it is self-service is does mean that you leave your bags unattended or have to go in shifts - not a major problem just something to think about.

The food is ok but not great (not very tasty). Price-quality ratio is ok... about 500g of food for 13 pounds. The good thing is that many options are available though.

Food always excellent, and the self-service, pay-by-weight approach means everyone gets precisely what they want. It's a great place to eat before before a film, play, or concert, because you're fully in control of your time, so can enjoy your meal without stress. I love it!

This was my 4th visit to Tibits and I took friends who had not been before. We all enjoyed the buffet, and a nice bottle of Sauvignon Blanc (very reasonably priced for London at £20) as well as the relaxed atmosphere I have always experienced. My only negative was the cup of tea we had to finish our meal. The organic tea bags didnt seem strong enough to colour and flavour the tea. Minor point though, overall a great place to eat, especially if veggie or vegan.

This restaurant is a favourite of mine. I love the ambience, the food is 100% delicious, the staff always pleasant. The self selection/pay by weight system works brilliantly, it all makes for a very relaxed and enjoyable dining experience.
