Superb food, great service, lovely ambience. This place is an absolute favourite of ours. The mushroom croquettes are amazing, as is the timeless patatas bravas!
the tastiest food I have ate in a long time, helpful staff all set in a very cosy environment, already looking forward to my next visit
Food and drink excellent, authentic and dfferent from other Spanish restaurants. Ambience cosy and very Spanish. Service welcoming and friendly. We cannot wait to go back!
Good but expensive for what it was. Running out of bread is never good and the portion size for example with two crochetas thought was on the small side.
Helpful friendly Spanish waiter. Good tapas served at a pace we wanted. Good variety well presented. Very quiet only four other diners. Would definitely visit again
Great restaurant, lovely food, intimate environment. Very popular, book to avoid disappointment. Have been going here for at least five years, it is like popping into Spain and forgetting about Edinburgh for a couple of hours.
Great atmosphere, service and food, which appears to be authentic tapas. I can recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxed evening, tasty food and wine.
Very much enjoyed El Quixote!!Lovely food and great wine. Love the excellent specials! Friendly staff and good service. Looking forward to going back sometime soon.
Very friendly, attentive service (opens 5.30 - so great for a pre-cinema, theatre dinner). Great food as ever - their iberico pork dishes are superb.
Great relaxed atmosphere, service, food and wine to a laid back Spanish sound track as always at El Quijote. We took along a tapas novice who thoroughly enjoyed her first experience.
Lovely and cosy place, nice staff, fine Spanish food (great pimientos del padron!), perfect location (close to the Meadow and to Marchmont, where we live).
