Sorrento Restaurant - Glasgow

So disappointed my friend who’s birthday it was, we have been in Sorrento and always enjoyed it, but won’t be back my friend did not finish her lasagna and I didn’t really enjoy mine.the young lad who served us was lovely .so sorry we won’t be back

Very nice, enjoyed my meal. Relaxed atmosphere and we did not feel rushed.

First visit and we all enjoyed it.the service was first rate cheery and funny staff.food in the main very good perhaps too much for some.prices were normal and will go again.

The staff are always so pleasant and attentive. It’s a nice relaxed atmosphere with a good vibe. We enjoyed a lovely evening here.

Absolutely fantastic food and service highly recommend a must visit for authentic Italian food.

As ever, enjoyed an excellent value 2-course lunch served by efficient and attentive staff.

Unfortunately on a Wed night at 20:00 there were only a couple of other people in the restaurant, but the food and service were very good.

Great food. Very patient staff with a large group of guys. Would recommend the pizza and Chicken Parmesan. Reasonably priced £££. Would definitely visit again.

Small starters (especially the Caprese salad) and incredibly slow service throughout, especially for a quiet lunchtime. Otherwise the food was good but slow service meant that it isn't a suitable restaurant for business lunch.

Food wasn’t as good as last visit. Waitress never checked me off her list when I said that I had a reservation. I think they were shor5 on staff.

Fantastic meal with polite and friendly staff, what else can you ask for... the restaurant has a beautiful setting and your not sitting over someone else's shoulder, so all in all some great food in a very relaxed atmosphere

Lovely! Good service. Decent selection of pizzas and enjoyed the atmosphere too. The restaurant is clean, the toilets were too and the break and olives tasty!

Had booked the restaurant for 5pm prior to going to nearby concert. Warm welcome and good tasty food at good price with service to match.

Food was amazing and really friendly staff provided excellent service. The pizza was one of the best I've had and the carbonara was cooked the traditional Italian way.

Great authentic Italian! Amazing food, friendly staff and good atmosphere. Definitely recommended, the Lasagne is the real deal. The garlic bread is heavenly and the wine ain’t bad either. 5 stars!!

Really enjoyed our meal here. The food was delicious and although it was very busy the service was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Great food, portions, drinks, and service. Fresh and hot food served quickly. Recommend the pizza margarita, pollo Milanese, grilled veg and whiskey sours will definitely be back

As usual, we thoroughly enjoyed our tasty and very good value lunch on a cold day in Sorrento Byres Road served by efficient and friendly staff.

Excellent food in pleasant surroundings with a nice atmosphere - not too noisy. Would be nice if they had a lift though as stairs are a bit tricky for me these days. But I would definitely go back.

Went for the lunch time menu this time and it was just as good as always smaller portions but smaller prices and very affordable for a quick bite to eat

friendly staff, attentive but not intrusive or pressured service, clean surroundings, pleasant decor, background music quiet, good selection of dishes on menu with vegetarian options - menu says they can make dishes according to individual needs if required. Tasty food, good size portions.We went on a recommendation and enjoyed ourselves.We will be back.

Very nice ambience with an authentic Italian feel about it. Service was very good, lovely food although my main course of spaghetti carbonara was a bit oversized , it did taste good. The staff were very friendly and professional.

Restuarant really good. Attentative waitress pleasant & welcoming. Food very good with one exception. Minestrone soup was a bit of a let down. Slightly watery.

5 of us had a lovely meal with great service. The portions were very generous and the food was good quality. Service was friendly and efficient.

Lovely restaurant, good food and attentive friendly staff. As it was Hogmany everything felt a bit rushed as the restaurant was closing early - would visit again though as everything else good.
