Excellent welcome and service throughout our visit. Somewhat disappointed with the 5 bean vegan mains-rather small and not very tasty ! French fries were of poor quality. Enjoyed the breaded haddock and our desserts. The Bistro needs to offer better options for vegans.

The staff are so warm & friendly . The food is excellent good sized portions . The place is spotless lovely clean toilets .’. Would recommend Anyone to go there and feel very confident they would enjoy

A lovely restaurant with friendly and attentive staff, however we've found the food in a past 3 visits to be a little poorer in quality wrto cooking compared to what it used to be.

Party of 4 visiting for a 30th birthday meal. The staff were really lovely and let us put a couple of banners and balloons around the table. Food was great, atmosphere very cozy and we were well looked after. Thank you for bringing out some cake and singing happy birthday too!

We had put a note in the booking that we would be bringing our puppy. However the table we were given was on the busy path/isle to the toilets. staff let us move outside as puppy was getting overwhelmed with the traffic, thankfully a nice day

Friendly welcome as usual. Prompt service. Good food. But it was impossibly noisy. The people at the next table were so loud that we were unable to hold a conversation. We left early.

Always a warm welcome by the owner who was also delighted that we’re local and supporting a local business. The Waterside has a cosy country pub atmosphere and the food is delicious. We had potted cod, crab and prawns to start followed by steak and spalebone of beef, finished off with Baileys cheesecake. Highly recommend.
