Côte Royal Festival Hall

Always a pleasure to eat at Cotes, good food, friendly staff and a warm atmosphere, in which ever restaurant we go to. We liked the new July menu .

Excellent. Offered complimentary drinks whilst we waited a few minutes for table. Very friendly. There was a delay with my order but it came, they didn't charge and brought some complimentary bread. Food excellent.

Lovely food ..very busy . Superb waiter alongside new recruits being shown the ropes. A mistake in the order was fixed with a gratis side dish . Best to book and I will do as a fair price for an early pre Theatre supper Thankyou 🙌👏

I like cote, food is good, but staff are not always friendly and often forget to bring items you asked for. I would it’s a nice place but it’s not an amazing place or experience.

First time dining at this branch of COTE and we enjoyed the food and ambience. Waiters were polite and manager was friendly and stones throw from the theatre which was an additional benefit.

Although extraordinarily busy, the staff were never less than extremely attentive and appreciative of our limited window as showtime approached. The food (mussels and seafood linguini) was, as usual, superb.

Prompt and efficient service, pleasant waiting staff and very good food. We dine there quite often, at least once a month as it always dependable.

Very nice and such good service enjoyed the glass of complimentary champagne , the service was very good Nice atmosphere as well , so near the royal Festival Hall so my mother in law didn’t have far to walk

We arrived on time and our table was waiting. The waitress was very efficient and took time to explain some of the dishes to our grandaughter who was dining with us. She was very attentive and made it an enjoyable experience. Great food as usual.

The food was amazing, better than at other branches and the staff are absolutely lovely. They have a nice seating outside. I'm definitely going back!

Delicious food and generally very good service. Only thing I would say is that we were put on a small table for 2 which meant we ended up having to put somethings on table next to us and we only had one main each and a side to share. There were plenty other tables so not sure there was need to put us on such a small table. Apart from that generally very good - downstairs is cosy and outside is lovely on a nice day.

lovely Birthday meal for my mum. We were give a complimentary drink on arrival and thoroughly enjoyed the delicious three course al la Carte meal.

Excellent value for money in a relaxed yet convenient location. The staff were friendly and pretty well organised. The availability of outside seating is a plus.

Usual very high standard of food and service from this Cote - recommended. PS - I didn't use the milk provided for my coffee as the milk jug did not look clean at all.

Cote Brasserie as ever delivers its excellent value set menu. This location is ideal for a quick meal right next to the Festival Hall/South Bank.

Good food, waitress was a bit forgetful, wine was warm but they gave us free drinks to compensate. Food excellent. The restaurant was boiling hot however

Very good atmosphere. Weather was good so we were able to sit outside and people watch. Risotto was delicious! We had a very friendly waitress

Delighted to see the opening of a a new Côte restaurant adjacent to the Royal Festival Hall. We enjoyed a number of dishes of the specials menu. Loved the tuna carpaccio! The fish stew however should have more fish and fewer mussels.

Very pleasant location - sat at outside table- with good choice of menu and friendly and attentive service. Good quality food and wine with some excellent summer seasonal dishes. Recommended for relaxing business lunches or evening dining.

It was a very pleasant atmosphere: we sat outside on a beautiful, warm evening. The staff was helpful and approachable. Very nice food which arrived in good time. The only problem was that the wine was not chilled properly and only reached a reasonable temperature at the end of the meal! The waiting staff didn't know to put water in the ice bucket as well as ice to chill it faster.

Food, drinks and service were all excellent. You had run out of the wine we ordered, but the manager authorised a more expensive bottle for the same price - a nice touch.

Helpful & supportive but not pushy service. We spent c3 hours at the restaurant for a family reunion on a reasonably busy Saturday afternoon. Enjoyed our 2 courses (starters & mains)

I have been a fan of Cote for a few years. Your food and service is consistently good, and your prices are very reasonable. My wife and I are so pleased that at last, there is a restaurant close to the Royal Festival Hall which we will love to go to every time we attend a concert.

An excellent eating place: clean, comfortable, attractive menu, good food, good wine, well-priced, efficient friendly service, within yards of the RFH. For concert-goers - and others - what's not to like.

As ever, Cote never fails. A complimentary bottle of house wine was included in our dining offer, however, they had sold out of that wine so they gave us their best bottle instead. It definitely put a smile on our faces. We are looking forward to going back. The atmosphere was fantastic.

The restaurant is light and airy, the staff cheerful and the food is very good. A great asset to the South Bank. Could be my favourite Cote

Great food, friendly service, if a little slow. Also a great selection of wines. I had steak and my partner had salmon - both really well cooked.

Very pleased with this new branch of Cote. The service and food were both excellent, and with their pre-theatre set menu, it's also very good value if going to a nearby play or concert.

Lovely food, great attentive service and excellent value. A real little gem. Would have awarded it the full 6 but the restaurant was a little on the hot side. x

Upset that this branch did not do the early dinner menu on a Saturday night when the West End branches do. Also we had a seat right by the door - not marvellous when we had booked. Food was good though.

This was our first visit to the new Cote at Southbank and we'll certainly return soon. The service was friendly and efficient, and always with a smile. The choice of courses on the Standard and Prestige set pre-theatre menus offered something for everyone. Portion sizes were very good and the food was delicious. Lovely atmosphere too.

The waitress struggled to understand us and we had to keep asking her her to repeat what she was saying, her words were rolling into each other. We asked for a sauce "on the side" and she thought it meant on the side of the plate.

Staff pleasant, table available when we arrived and food most enjoyable so altogether a very good experience. Cote at Festival Hall is a very good meeting point for those of us who travel into Waterloo.

Olives arrives at the same time as main course. Green beans were practically raw. Both were taken off the bill, but it took the edge off our evening.

Hot,crowded,noisy & service lacking usual Cote efficiency. Yes it was Saturday evening pre-theatre - worst time to go obviously, but we were going to a concert! Manager did apologise for the service and reduced our bill.

Excellent variety in the menu. Tasty, good quality food and helpful, knowledgeable staff. Great for those like me who need to maintain a gluten free diet, this is one of the best places around.

The food was great, up to Cote’s usual standard but the service was very chaotic. We were pre-theatre as were many others and we had to run to the theatre to make it on time. We asked several times to be served (even drinks) and kept being told, two mins. It was very busy but they should expect that at Festival Hall. Plus it was very, very hot.

This is the probably the latest addition to the Cote Chain in London and perfectly located for visiting the Southbank Centre. The menu on offer is the same as in all the other Cote's. However, it does have outside space.

We booked and table ready when we arrived for pre show meal, best to book as many people queuing. Good food and really friendly staff.

This was our first time following a recommendation and the staff were very friendly and efficient and the food was delicious. Would definetely recommend Cote Brasserie.

Excellent experience and a great place to eat before a concert. Food was delicious and the service was friendly, fast and helpful. The gluten free menu is extensive and they go to a lot of trouble to ensure that your food is marked as GF using little flags. I would definitely go back.

Service was great as always. The tuna on my niçoise was dry and leathery. It seemed a quality issue, not poor preparation, so instead I asked for salmon on the salad. The salmon was lovely, but I hope next time I can eat a juicy piece of grilled tuna again.

Great food and service. Happy we chose it. They were patient when we were late; did something special for a birthday, and the food was excellent.
