Great food and service. Happy we chose it. They were patient when we were late; did something special for a birthday, and the food was excellent.

Excellent meal and service from start to finish. Our waitress was very attentive and as this was a celebratory catch-up meeting with colleagues, we never felt rushed, despite the restaurant becoming busy during our visit. Complimentary bubbles was the icing on the cake; thank you

This Cote restaurant has only been open since March 2018. As soon as you walk through the door the staff were friendly and immediately made you feel welcome. The food is the same high standard as other locations. great meal and a great evening.

As always, service excellent, food exactly to my taste. My husband especially appreciates the size of the portions - not too big. So happy about the branch at the Festival Hall.

Fantastic lunch in the sunshine on Saturday afternoon. The staff were so attentive and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The squid on the starter menu was stunning! Lovely central location with nice busy and warm vibe.

Welcome and hospitality excellent. Food pretty good. Drinks excellent. Our problem (party of three) is that this resturant is very noisy and it was difficult and tiring to have a conversation. I guess its the tiled floor, as I've eaten happily in other brances of Cote without this problem. Some noise baffling procedures could be considered for this busy and popular resturant.

I ordered sirloin steak with medium but it turn out nearly well done. Apart from the sirloin steak, others were good. Set dinner is good value.

As usual, our visit to a Cote restaurant was good. It was very busy and the only problem, bearing in mind that two of us were late due to traffic chaos, was that we had to wait a little while longer than usual between courses. Despite that we had a very enjoyable meal, and look forward to our next Cote meal.

Great value food with great service . Fab location . A good edition to the south bank dining experience where it’s always so hard to get in anywhere

Excellent – and plentiful – food from the Prestige Set Menu, which we thought was great value for money. Service was good, although the restaurant was very busy, and we were out well in time for the theatre. Will definitely go again.

We are Cote regulars but this was the first visit to this one. Excellent service and food as usual. Only criticism - please don't interrupt my meal to ask me how it is. I know it is the modern way but it grates on us oldies.

A delightful occasion with good service. Steak rather cold, hence loss of mark, but replacement was offered. Pleasant environment upstairs, if a little noisier downstairs.

The acoustics are slightly noisy, but the service and food was great. I've marked 3 since they had only 2 bottles of the wine we wanted, and neither was chilled in advance at midday...

A very slow start to the service. Repeated questioning about whether we had booked. Took 10 minutes for someone to attend to us. Food was good. Ran out of orange juice. Not my best experience at Cote.

Good service / food in a very busy restaurant which is down to the staff and the way it was being managed. The only comment is that all food was taken by tray from the kitchens, which were down stairs.

Lovely new venue or Cote, there on a very sunny and warm Saturday early evening. Delicious meal, both dishes new to me, crab mayonnaise starter and cheese and mushroom crepe - delicious and I'm not a veggie!

Great experience all around. Excellent food and service. Don’t like Cotes policy of optional tip and putting it on the bill anyway. I think it’s a bit cheeky. Lots of restaurants add a gratuity to the check and are upfront about it.

We were welcomed by the staff on arrival at 6.00pm and showed to the downstairs area of the restaurant which was fairly quiet. (A table on the ground floor would be nicer with more natural light) We chose from the two course pre-theatre menu which had a good choice of about five items per course. The food arrived quickly, the portions were good and was very tasty. The service was friendly and attentative throughout.

We have used Cote often but this was our first time at South Bank. We liked the ambience and the menu. However two of our party found their main course tepid. We also had to wait more than 20 minutes for the main course, which was not desirable as we were going on to a concert. Not up to the usual Cote standard. The Manageress apologised and offered to bring fresh dishes but we couldn't wait for that. She did reduce our bill as a compensation.

The bistro was extremely busy on a Saturday evening and service was courteous but VERY slow. Customers were anxious about getting to concerts or trains on time. This would indicate a need for additional staff although as the tables are very close to each other this may potentially be a problem. I am a great “fan” of Cote but feel this one - in a prime position - still has some enresolved difficulties. Just hope it’s early days and that solutions will be found.

Spent a very enjoyable few hours over a long leisurely lunch with a couple of old friends, delicious fish stew, lemon tart and nice bottle of chilled sauv which (much to our joy) was complimentary with a voucher of hers! Same high standard I’ve come to expect. Well done Cote RFH.

Staff very friendly and welcoming. Very busy restaurant so advisable to book a table and tell your waiter that you are going to the theatre, as the staff try to allow you enough time to eat and to get to your show. The only downside was the noise and two very loud women behind us however we were seated in the middle of the restaurant, better to sit near a wall in a noisy place. The food was very good, set menu had many delicious options and finally great value.

Very well looked after, even moved us to a larger table when an unexpected guest turned up halfway through the planned meal. Food very good, although I would have liked it a little hotter when it reached the table. I shall certainly be a regular customer on my frequent trips to concerts at RFH.

All great we both had the Fish Stew which was very good. Stared a starter. Only slight problem very noisy but it was full so not surprising.
